Course Curriculum Overview

2

We were not happy with our course wise subject choice. We had to study some unnecessary subjects, which never came in handy later on. Action oriented subject and it's training was very much needed. Interim assessment were much needed.

Fees and Financial Aid

It was year-wise fees, in our time and the fees was 1200 in the first year including examination charge and all. In the second yera it was around Rs.1000/- and in the third year i.e. in the last year it was around Rs.1000/-. The fees structure for the OBC and General catagorised student was same and SC/ST students were paying 25% less than the normal fees.

Campus Life

4

Every year in May-June our annual college fest was full of grandeur. Many guest artists would come to perform. But one thing I can't appriciate is that the collection of books in our college library was not good. In those time facilities and technological provisions was not available. On the other hand our college was famous for indoor and outdoor games all time.

Admission

It was one of the best colleges of that time. Also I had some good old student referances. Apart from this A group of highly qualified teachers used to teach us in that college at that time. Because of this reasons I have applied for this college to get admission and kept Santipur College, Santipur, Nadia as in my 2nd choice.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio was low that time but the relationship between teacher-student was good. We received intensive support, advive and guidance from our teacher. Dr. Debadrata Najumder was a wonderful techer in my opinion due to his personality, teaching techniques and humbleness.

Night Life

4

We hade a well equipped gym in our college. we spent some time after class there. We had a nostalgic cafeteria there. We don't have any hostel for students in our college. We were not allowed to enter the college campus after evening.

Other Applied Colleges

Santipur college | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.} (Accountancy)

This college was my 2nd choice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always want to build my career in commerce and my aim is to be a chartered accountant. So I took this course because the syllabus of CA and B.com is the same. our college faculties are so helpful. They always come forward to resolve our academic and nonacademic doubts. Their teaching methods are also good. we don't need to purchase any book, their notes are enough for our syllabus.
