ICFAI University Tripura

Curriculum was designed well for 1st year students as they provide english for communication, physics, electrical science, maths and computer language c programming. Improvement should be there because all the topics are outdated and the teaching is theoretical most of the time. Exams are too often in our course after two months one exam will be conducted.

Companies offered internship are Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, HCL, Jio, and many more and also provide stipend. Projects make an important role for getting placement and internship, so making projects and posting in the resume is also important

From the 3rd or 4th semester students are allowed and eligible for campus placements. Companies that are visited are Amazon, Wipro, TCS, HCL, Mahindra tech, Jio,etc. Highest package per company offered is 10 LPA and the average package is 4 to 5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement in our campus is 90%.

The year wise fees paid for my course is 110000. Our tuition fees is 55000 for per semester, caution money is 10000 same for all, registration fees is 500, addmission fees is 20000 same for all, and development fees is 1500. All my batchmates having the same fees . Scholarship from the national scholarship scheme was provided from our university.

There is no annual festival celebrated in ICFAI, the only festival celebrated is Saraswati Puja, and two main tech fests are celebrated one is the freshers party well known as NOVATOS and the another is ICARIA. Library of our campus is well stocked with valuable books. Classrooms are large enough to hold 100 students and have smart boards . Sports like cricket and football are offered in campus.

Hostel rooms are good enough for to stay, we have to share rooms with one roommate. They provide a bed, a table, a chair, cupboard, fan and light. Meal quality is not good and the menu is not changed from years. Registration process for hostel have to take on the time of addmission.

Only college that I applied is ICFAI University Tripura only and got confirmed. I choose this college because ICFAI is very well known in our state as compared to other colleges and it is situated my home state also. Addmission process is easy for all , all you have to do is apply for online or offline in the campus and you have to take the given documents to the addmission department for review.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:76. The relation between students with faculties are good and the faculties are easily approachable. Exams are too often in our university, well the internal exams are quite easier but the midterm and comprehensive exams might be difficult If studied not well. Very few students failed to clear exams. Course curriculum was good, but not the best one.

One gymnasium is all time open in the campus, canteens are available inside the campus and it closes at 10pm, one park is there in the campus , no one is allowed roaming in the campus after 10 pm. Hostel timings are strict no one could go out of the campus or at home without any proper application or take permission from parents. Mess food is given time to time there is a specific timing for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
