Likes

the education system of the university. the evaluation pattern on the basis of dha, ca and ct's
it has been said that in DEI no one can be fail here because it gives all the ways to score.
it has a disciplined educational system conducting several seminars , workshops for students.

Dislikes

some courses are their in university which doesn't give a carrier aspect opportunity, no placements.
mobile phones are not allowed in the main campus and if you carry cellphone they will take it and return to you by the end of the semester.
a strict rules regarding uniform, timings, attendance. there is no fresher, or farewell in the university.

Course Curriculum Overview

the couse curriculum is very flexible as it will provide you many ways to complete it. the coure have workshops also. national level seminars. presentations, research also and many more. in social science faculty you will get a chance to publish you research in socpus and other respective area.

Fees and Financial Aid

master of arts fees in 5600 for 4 semeter two years. and dei scholarship is based on various way:- merit based, need based, government and charitable trust also. applications for scholarships and loans are considered based on the applicant's conduct and academic progress.

Campus Life

over all the university is good and a friendly environment with strict rules like no cell phones, uniform is there compulsory, friends, teachers are amazing and very helpfyll their. it is a good university for bachlors and masters to.

Admission

as i have done my bachlors and masters from this university. this university gives a lot of benefits regarding in curriculum, in co-curricular activities and other also. it gives a way to grow more to learn more

Faculty

the staff of university is good in some faculty like social science. education faculty has a strict rules. prayers in compulsory to attend. attendence are very important because dh , ca are based on attendence. regular classes were there.

Interview Experience

yes hua tha, group discussion aur mast hua that mujhe slums regarding pucha gaya tha it was amazing. maine bahut confidence ke saath answer diya tha. toppic se regarding bahut saare questions puche the.

Night Life

there is central library with good and knowledgable books, but there is not cafeterias, only a main ground. overall somewhere the campus a environment like a school. not like a university. its ok to be here.

Life at JT Girls Degree College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.

Placement Experience:

The course i did from the college does not require placements. But yes, in other courses like MBA, BCOM,ENGINEERING, BBA etc. campus placements happen and you do get good placements in good companies. The packages are not below 300000-400000 lakhs After my degree, I am currently working as a content writer as per my skills. i have worked with international and national businesses.

Economics is a very good and a very interesting subject. The curriculum over here focuses from basic to advance level . It starts its syllabus from basic micro and cover almost every field of economics. The curriculum try to give application in real world by adding dissertations, field surveys in syllabus. There are 4 semester in master and in every semester there is an end semester exam (that is of 70) and mid semester exam (that is of 30 marks) . The exam is mostly moderate .

The college is in my hometown so close to family and friends. No moving out having the comfort of living with family. Apart from this good syllabus structure. I was getting to learn so much more here than in other colleges. The reason i came back from college in Shimla, it was purely due to homesickness. The admission process is you can fill online and offline forms where you need to may something between 500- 1000 per form. The you are called for interview round and written if your course admission procedure demands for it. The college puts list1 List 2, List 3 that you need to check in the college premise.
