The campus is well developed with so much facilities inside for better understanding.

Btech mechanical engineering course is very popular nowdays. The teaching methods for this course is very practical and understandable which is very easy to understand the subject and course.the machines used for practical learning are very old. Need to be upgraded to new machines.

Internships Opportunities

The college provided the internship every year. they are provided the stipend every year . The chances re very high to get placement from college uf you are good in studies. So many companies are interested to have students from thus college.

Placement Experience

The placement is quite good here. From 5th semester the students get eligible for the placement. There is a team of student also who take care of the placement an other things. The highest package the students get here is around 20 lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of education gere is very affordable. I appreciate that the fees here is not like the others private institutes. Anyone can afford to do any valuable course as the fees structure is very affordable. The scholarship also available for every course.

Campus Life

The overall experience of campus life is little simple if compared to other expensive colleges. There are sports and extracurricular activities. The library provide books with all subjects and course. Very friendly campus.

Admission

For graduation you need to be 12th pass out. And for diploma course you need to be 10th pass out. The process is little complicated. The reservation can be done and very benificial for many students. The admission process can be improved if all information can be given on time.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is not that much balance. The number of Students in 1st year are much higher according to the faculty space. If talk about the teaching and mentorship it's quite good and up to the level. Teachers are easy to be approached and they understand the students.

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.

The college is in my hometown so close to family and friends. No moving out having the comfort of living with family. Apart from this good syllabus structure. I was getting to learn so much more here than in other colleges. The reason i came back from college in Shimla, it was purely due to homesickness.
