Very large area of campus and lot of trees
The hostel room is very clean and big and white

The mess food is very bad not even eatable for animals

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is bachelor of technology in civil engineering.And I'm currently in second semester.I have only studied basic subjects yet like physics, chemistry and mathematics.But I have also studied building materials and construction, which is a very interesting subject.And I think my courses very good

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 185000 per year

Placement Experience

Our college provides in campus placements and the average package.In my course , civil engineering is about five lakh per annum Although These students who are able to sit in placement are only those who get A cgpa above 7

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of my college shri mata Vaishno.Devi university for 4 years Is around 10 lakhs? The average placement of my college is around 5 lakhs every year. The fees of my college is increasing. The fees was same for all the categories. Whether it is general schedule caste or schedule tribes. My college does not give any scholarship

Campus Life

The Overall experience of college is OK.The study is not very good here, but the Campus Life is very interesting.You can play all the sports and also the night.Life is also very good in our college.We can go anywhere and enjoy

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities in a hostel are very good.The rooms are tidy and cleaned.And our whitewashed also the almiras are also very good and the tables are also very nice.The only thing bad about hostel is the mess.Food and the washrooms , they are not even good for animal's

I applied in this college because it was very popular and also was close to my home Add very bad ratings and the only reason I came to my college was because it was close to my home.And I could go home often

Faculty

The facility of our college is well qualified and is not very friendly All the teachers are able to explain to us all.The subjects. In? One year there are two semesters and in each semseter there are 2 exams minors and majors

Night Life

The nightlife in my college is very interesting and lively.You can go at any time and there will be students But there is no place in our college that is good.And where students can eat Otherwise our college is very good

Course Curriculum Overview:

A student's perspective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
