Course Curriculum Overview

2

I Heard alot about delhi University sol if you don't want to join regular college so that's why I opt for this college. I choose this course bachlor of commerce because I did commerce so I have to choose this course. No there is nothing that teachers told me about further academic pursuits. I did all by myself. The exam was for 3 hours it was started from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm . For financial exams it was not enough time but somehow we used to manage it . But for theoretical exams it was enough time . It was all about writing speed that you have to manage to write good and go with the timing. I have good writing speed so 3 hours were enough for me and I always have completed my exam within the time. So I think 3 hours is perfect time doesn't matter how easy or hard the exam is.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was a student of delhi University sol ( school of open learning). I completed my college in 2024. I used to pay fees of amount rupees 3000-4000 every year . This used to be our fees for two semester. Also you have to pay rupees four hundred to five hundred if you have back in any subject. This used to be the total fees after adding or calculating everything. My sister also joined du sol last year and yes Now fees has been increased, this year my sister paid 10000 rupees for one year for 2 semesters and this is huge amount. I was from the general category so I didn't got enough opportunities. We were called to attend the classes in the college which were given by them. I didn't attended any classes. I used to go to college only to give exams. There were fair used to happen in which you will get a job. It was also used to open for school of open learning students too. I only had only bachlor of commerce friends so I don't have any idea about any other courses information. I didn't got any financial aid because I am from general category. So it was usually for st sc students.

Campus Life

2

I think allover you mentioned above must be available but I never participated in these all groups and all. I used to get the books which the college used to provide us only.. or not any other books were provided to us. I only used to study from those books. If I want to study more about the specific subject then I used to purchase the books from outside.

Admission

As I already told you I heard alot about delhi University sol that's why I chose this college. But I don't want to do regular college that's my i did college from Delhi University school of open learning. I didn't applied for any other colleges. I applied only for it. And I got admission only in it. There is no eligibilty to get selected in this college of Delhi University school of open learning. You will get admission anyways. You just have to wait for the admission form as soon as they are out . You have to fill the form as per the requirements. You have to. Mention the percentage that you got in 10th or 12th class. There is no cutoff system in Delhi University school of open learning anybody can take admission in this college. After filling all the requirements which were asked then you have to give the fees as much they charge after this you will get the confirmation on your Gmail or through messages. The admission process is not. That much hard anybody can go for it.

Faculty

3

I was a bachelor in commerce student. Exams were not easy or different. It was medium. But the difference was that the exams in first year were easy but as we came in second or third year it start getting hard. But not that much hard. I passed in all semesters. There were 4 exams in one semester and I had 6 semesters in 3 years.. so I passed in all semesters. All exams were okay okay. There were subjects like business management, security laws, income tax, and many more subjects. Many students failed too in these exams too. They gave back exams . Faculty members were also good. They used to behave well.

Night Life

1

I didn't stay in the hostels or I have never seen night life of college. I have no words for this question. But last semester in which college I gave exams it has very good outside college restuarant at a very reasonable price.

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i am from a business and commerce background this course automatically attracts me, but these course does includes a deep knownledge on Accounts, Law and management which helps an individual to exel in business or some other fields in life. the curiculum surely prepare as it is a practical course full of real life knowledge which we study in law and management. and the course also have a broader future academic pursuits. The course curriculum and teaching methods is great only in MPA ma'am some times try to be practical and ask question but no one is prepared excpet some few kids some it gets difficult, like explanation part get's messed up i guess due to different perspective. The improvement should be with college timing the college must follow timings like Shaheed Bhagat singh college morning and evening classes which makes the college less crowded and efficient as per student needs. The frequency and timings of exam are ok.

Placement Experience:

Honestly, placements at SRCC are really strong, and that’s one of the main reasons everyone wants to study here. Most students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th or 6th semester, and usually, the internships you do in the 5th semester also help you get a final offer later.

The placements is somewhat what allures people to choose SRCC over other colleges. The average placement this year, was around 1300000+ and the offers were decent from prestigious firms including the Big4, HUL, Myntra, Meesho, Dalberg, Microsoft etc. There were gross offers of about 52 Crores, a total of 520+ offers from 115+ recruiters. Highest placement was around 36 LPA. SRCC is said to provide a 100% placement. I wish to pursue a Masters degree abroad after graduating.
