Likes

Everything was nice. The infrastructure, teaching methods, the students etc. was good.
My campus life was really good. Both studies ang entertainment is there.
The courses in the college is relevant and it will helps in the future.

Dislikes

Placement was okay but the training for it has to improve.
The bonding of teachers and students has to improve.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum in this college was good. They will give importance to the studies, arts and sports. Relevent subjects are in the courses and it will help for the future also. Teaching methods are also good.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise i paid 70000rs total. My seat was management seat. I got one CAPE scholarship which had 15000Rs. Some of my friends had government seat. There fees was 50000rs total. Also there are some more scholarships for sc/st/obc categories.

Campus Life

Every year there is tech fest and it is a nice experience. There are sports teams, music bands, dance teams etc. Extra curricular activities have importance in this college. There is a nice library, most of the subject's textbook is available.

Admission

It is one of the good colleges in my place and i didn't go for other colleges. For getting a seat in this college you have to write KEAM examination and get good score. If we got selected in this college the admission process may take 1 day or half day time.

Faculty

There is enough faculties to take all the subjects. In each departments there is some teachers who will engage with students more and there is teachers engage with students less. Each sem we had 2 internal exams and one main exam.

Night Life

The college will close at maximum 5pm. After that ground is accessible for sports. Other than that i guess nothing is accessible. I was a day scholar so only this much i know about the night life in our college.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA.
