The social atmosphere in college of engineering is very pleasant
The college ground is very large and we can play variety of sports there
The library of college of engineering perumon is very spacious

Dislikes

Stray dogs are wandering in the campus causing problems to students
Basic facilities are a bit lagging in college of engineering perumon
Transportation facilities are also a bit out of time

In the terms of relevance and comprehensiveness my course is in a middle level we use techniques from past and also try to adapt new technology. by studying this course I am prepared for real world applications or any academic pursuits

I applied for college of engineering karunagapally.but got admission in college of engineering perumon . I got rejected on the first college because the seats for my course were full there.then I was selected here in college of engineering perumon

Faculty

It's a 8 semester programme for btech. Every sem there is two internal exams and one university exams .the internal marks are calculated using attendance, mark of series exams and the mark provided for submitting assignment

Interview Experience

No I didn't face any group discussion or interview or written test for the admission in college of engineering perumon i was admitted using my plus two marks and grades from entrance exam conducted at that time

Night Life

Libraries,public areas , cafeterias work till the end of college regular time . Here night life is not that much focused. Hostel timings vary from hostel to hostel. Mainly the timing is 9:30 pm or so .don't know about that specific

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.
