- The coursework is very heavy with lots of quiz, exams, assignments which can sometimes feel like a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very theory heavy with less practical implications. Their should be some courses in sem 1 or 2 to help students prepare for placements. Also course pressure can be reduced so that students can practice for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester wise 25k including hostel and others, mess few excluded. Tution fees is 3000 per sem. There are different scholarships marit cum means(MCB), student benevolence fund scholarship etc, you can get waiver on tution fees and mess bill.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good and very vibrant. Also the campus is very safe at night you can roam at whatever time you want and we are blesses with the huge campus with lots of greenery and we have a big OARwhere you can spend time with your friends and chill.
Admission
Only two IIT in India provide MSc statistics IIT Kanpur and IIT Bombay, I choose IIT Kanpur over IIT Bombay because of their theoretical course and also internship and placements are sometimes better in IIT Kanpur than IIT Bombay in our department
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is around 9:1. Professors are very approachable u can ask them any doubts and also can go to their office if you are not comfortable to ask in front of everyone. They also give good marks and grades.
Night Life
The nightlife outside it Kanpur is not good because it is situated at from the main city of Kanpur so you cannot expect any nightlife there. Inside IIT you can roam around with friends, visit various canteens.
