Course Curriculum Overview

Projects that come in internships at DPU campus provide students experience in understanding furniture designing, interior styling, set designing, exhibition desgining, theatre designing, and much more with real industry experience.

Campus Life
With garba nights during navratri, janmashtami, diwali, eid, shiv jayanti, holi and many other festivites, workshops, and field trips taking place in the campus its like a celebration here every week.
Hostel Facilities
hostel rooms are equiped with well furnished wadrobes, book shelves, table, and a small pantry. all the storage spaces are provided with locks for safety. Hostel mess provides with a high range of heaslthy and fresh meals 4times a day.
Admission
Dr DY Patil School of design provides with wide range of courses and opportunities for designer. With its industry expert faculty, vibrant learning space and healthy enviorment it provides a space to nurture a creative mind. While i did apply for other colleges, i couldn't make it there due to lack of communication between the colleges and me, and me not being able to clear entrance exam due to lack of information. Here, at DPU all these problems were not their and it was an easy way to communication and admissions.
Faculty
The faculties are helpful and help in clearing concepts while also providing expert level of knowledge. Each student is given proper attention to hel in acadamecis with workshops that are held every semester. Examinations are divided into 3 sections i.e. ICT-1, ICT-2, and final semester exams. The questions are given on basis to test the student's understanding and creativy keeping in mind to avoid pre-examination stress.
Interview Experience
interview questions asked are as follows- - why did you choose this course? - what do you understand about interior designing? - questions related to porttfolio - why choose DPU? -what do you understand about designing? what is the diffrence between art and designing?
Night Life
Campus is a safe enviorment for everyone even during nights with 24\7 security guards at alert and security cameras as student security is the main responsibility. campus has its own gym, cafeteria and library which provides students a serene and relaxing enviorment
