5

There are wide variety of course offers by this college and each course are new and updated syllabus. The understanding of the course is very good even faculty also teach very good.overall a good experience with the all courses offered by the this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The current fee of the college is yearly is 1lakh28 thousand that is the tution fees in our college in the current year. But for the batch of 2024-2028 it was revised by the 1 lakh 40 thousand. There are also so many scholarship given by the home domaince students. And the some scholarship also come to college for fee waiver students also it come under NSP.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is very positive and interactive. Every year a annual fest is conducted that is PARIVARTAN. In this fest a lots of technical and non technical activities is done by the department of students welfare. There are many types of group is formed in the college that is come under the department of students welfare. The clubs are fusion club, Photography club, dsw club, sport club,etc..

Admission

I chooses this college over other colleges because here the placement opportunities is very good. The best part of that college is placement.Every year a lot of company is coming and placed so many students in different companies. Also the fee structure of the college this college is affordable other than other costly colleges. The addmission is very simple there is no need to give any entrance exam. The addmission is based on merit based on the 12th board result.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is too supportive and problem solving. The ratio of the faculty to students is 60:6 thats define a good overall. Teacher support a lot in academics as well as in other activities.

Night Life

5

The night life of the college is very good and a good security system. The hostel are closed at the 11pm at night for the entry and the also in the main gate 24×7 gaurd is available so outsider are not allowed to the college at midnight. Also girls cannot roam in the campus after 8pm so girls are also safely in the campus. The shops in the campus are available for the students at 24 hours

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
