RIE MYSORE : A student's perspective

I opted the course MSc Ed Physics which a rare course and only available in Rie mysore. It includes integrated masters degree in Physics along with B.Ed. within 6 years which is a great thing. C1 and C2 will be conducted in first 4 months followed by practical exams and written exams.College also provide school attachment programme for students to get familiarised with school environment and provide teaching internship at the final year.

The collage provides 4 school attachment program which will help the student to get familiarised with the school environment and teaching learning process.After school attachment program students need to prepare reports and presentation. In the final year students will be allotted to different JNVs for teaching students for almost one and half month as internship along with lesson planning and reports.

College provide teaching placements to school from Karanataka, Hyderabad Tamilnadu etc. it's processed by the placement counsil in the College. The institute provide placement for almost every students.40000 is the average salary package. I'm thinking to research after this degree

13000 is the year wise we are paying here. It will have slight variations accordingly. In this 9500 is for tution fees and caution money deposit. The remaining part is for students welfare fee, registration fee , university examination fee , infrastructure development fee etc. For SC/ST catagory fees will be around 7500.NCERT scholarship is provided to students according to annual salary of family whom comes under a certain salary limit. Also cash prizes are given for students who excels in academics

The collage celebrates almost all major festivals from south india. Onam in September, pongal in January, ugadi in March , dasara in August are some of the festivals . Collage allot fund for conducting events. College have a library with a vast collection of books and magazines from different languages. Collage support sports and conduct leagues for football , basketball, volleyball, cricket to enhance participation. Also there clubs like theatrical club, cosmos club which is run by students along with the help of faculty members.

Normally 2 students are staying in one room. But it varies to 3 according to batch count. Room will be having 2 table , chair , bed and cupboard with lights and fan.Each wing have seperate toilets. Food is provided 3 times a day and is Karanataka style food. Food quality needs to be improved and menu is fixed. Students can register in the hostel while taking admission itself. There are total6 hostels provided for students each having an assigned warden and caretaker

I've applied to the some collages kerala for BSc Physics degree. I got admission in almost every college I've applied. I was doing BSc Physics in farook college for 2 months. Then the entrance result got published and since it's degree including integrated masters degree along with B.Ed i chose this college. Students can take admission in this college by appearing for the common entrance examination (CEE) through which students are allotted to RIE for every courses. 75 percentage is the approximate cut off mark which calculated along with your class 12 marks. Overall admission experience was nice.

The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1 : 40. Faculties are highly qualified and friendly that students can approach easily for academic and no academic queries. Internal exams are divided into two components C1 and C2 each having 25 marks. Student need to have atleast 15 marks to write C3 which is final semester exam having 50 mark along with practicals. Student should score atleast 15 in C3 to pass.

There are so many good food spots like Mysore Grand hotel Tripthi bakery , milus restaurant etc. students also ppt college canteen during short breaks . There are so many parks , zoo , restaurant, caffe and so much places to hangout with friends. Hostel timings are restricted to 8.00 pm for girls and 9.30 pm for boys.Mysore is also safe and fun to roam aroyat night having so many good spots to visit. Only problem is the timelimit allotted .
