Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this college because this is best college in my area and I don't wanted to leave my city and from seniors i heard that the faculty is good so this is the reason. Timing of exams is quite good and the level of exams is slightly moderate.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My coarse fee is 12000 approx and in other coarses there is difference of 1-2 thousand and discount for reserved categories . The fee i mentioned above is for 1 year that consist 2 semesters total in honours , there are 8 semesters.

Campus Life

There are smart boards is maximum classrooms and labs are full of skilled equipments and there are sports teams of colleges in which anyone can take part. Every year seniors organises freshers party for new comers.

Admission

I didn't applied in any other colleges because my mind was clear to come in this college and this is the most reputed college in jammu. The admission process is by cuet ug exam and islf there are some left over seats a student can apply on the basis of 12th class merit.

Faculty

There are approximately 110 teachers and my favourite is ps Manhas who is our Hod of physics and his teaching method is just like awesome and he motivates us sometimes and encourage us every time in the class

Night Life

There is also a gym with good equipments ,library full of books and two canteens one of them are from Nescafe. There are many good cafes around the college where students can chill and enjoy theeir good food.

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.
