life at OSMANIA UNIVERSITY.

mainly civil engineering has wide variety of oppurtunities for government examinations . and the faculty here will definitely make us focus on this exams. there is no need in improving the frequency and timing of exam.

and regarding the internship we have to do mandatory intership in our 6th semester .where we can choose our interested domain like in civil structural ,water resources ,construction etc. and we can contact repected faculty and they will make us into each domain.

placements in my college for civil engineering is not much better than any other departments.from 7th semester onwards students are eligible for placements . and im thinking to take course regarding IT field after my graduation.

Currently im pursuing my Bachelor of Engineering in the department of Civil Engineering in University college of Engineering,Osmania university. my tuition fee is 35000/- per year i will be geting EPASS scholarship as i belong to EWS category. and at the time of admission i paid 9400/- as admission fee.and my mess fee will be around 25000/- per year and i have to pay this because im not eligible for any scholarship because i belong to OC category .

there are pretty much events in my college like IEEE,Robotics, etc.and one annual festival for all the departments .and we have wide range of availability of books and journals available in the library.

hostel facility is not better because in single room 9 people should adjust which is very difficult to adjust.and food menu is also not good but ok. registration process will be based on distance beween our native place and college if it is more than 100km.

this college is such a old and prestigious college than the tha other colleges.and definitely faculty here are very expertised. i didnt get rejection from any other because i hvae kept this college as my first priority.

faculty to student ratio is not much . one of my faculty named P.Raja shekhar sir is one of the best faculty i have came across.and some of the faculty who are contract based are not effective .exam system is better but the marking scheme can be made better.

yeah there are gym ,cafeteria in our college campus .hostel remains closed after 9:30PM. actually osmania college itself is a hang out place for many people.like arts college is very famous in and around.
