Course Curriculum Overview

2

The courses in the college are decent and vast The subjects offered in the courses don't much help in skill development but basic knowledge development There are two exams conducted - min sem and end sem per semester and the difficulty is medium and dosent involve mental thinking

Fees and Financial Aid

Being a KCET. student i pay ?1,16,000 as fees in which the lab fees is ?20,000 and the tution fees is ?96000 But the students who got in through management pay 3.5 lakhs yearly . The college provides scholarship to SC/ST students upto ?20000

Campus Life

3

KiThe social aspect in college is decent Theere are multiple clubs like cultural and sports clubs There does exist a huge Library with various categories of books There are many events conducted which include large scale participation of students

Admission

I had scored 58k in KCET due to health issues and hence due to a mediocre rank i ended up in a mediocre college The admission process is pretty simple based or credits of 12 boards for management students a nd cut off ranks for KCET students

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio could be 1:60 The faculty and student relationship is same as any other college Facilities in the college are or mid experience and focus on how students score marks and now how students develop skills in various feilds

Interview Experience

3

No .I had written KCET for the admissions in the college and the admission required onlyy cut off rank to he checked and if my rank was under the cut off..I would get my seat in the course i applied for

Night Life

3

The night life in the college is pretty dead due toit being located insiya village and hence due to safety protocols the hostel timings and rules are pretty strict The hang out places inside the college are the main lawn, basement cafeteria

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.
