Course Curriculum Overview

3

I think the curriculum is still very old and it needs to be updated .Because there is no need to teach chemistry ,physics, manufacturing,EVS, constitution to IT,CSE related branch students . Rather the curriculum should me more based on coding as it helpsin real world applications and jobs. The frequence of exams are quiet decent and easy to score good marks

Internships Opportunities

4

All the companies which come for placements also offer internships in the college but the internship is only given to the students who score more than 6 cgpa in the college and are mandatory for them. The average stipend is about 30k a month

Placement Experience

4

After reaching the 8th semester the college students are elgible for college placements. All big companies visit the college campus for college placements like - Swiggy, Zomato, DE shaw, microsoft, Flipkart, Atlassian ,Amazon, Google etc .Total 224 companies like these visited the college for offers .. The highest offer was given by DE SHAW - 64 lakhs and the lowest package was given by college duniya itself -1.8 lakhs. The average package is about 6 lakhs. 85% of the students got placed . I think of pursuing masters from foreign after completing this degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The detailed fees structure is as follows :- so, the fees for btech for 4 years is approx 7 lakhs . Also the fees is increasing per year like for the first year it 's slightly more about 186000 and after that its 176000. Now so on the total fees would be about 7 lakhs . Also ,the college comes under the IPU university which is aided by government. So there are several scholarships available :- 1.EWS SCHOLARSHIP- for those whose annual family income is below 1,20,000 or they have a ration card . 2. special scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students

Campus Life

3

The campus life is overall Chill . There are several active socities in the college for all the type of activities . Several events are hosted by different societies every month but the biggest fests of the college are TECHSURGE and MRIDANG . The library is well equipped and large about 6 floors and covers every type of book, general neeed .The classrooms are clean equipped with AC's but are not very modern . the infra is still very old and needs to be renewated.

Admission

I also filled the JAC counselling and got DTU and NSUT colleges , But i still chose MAIT over them because i wanted to get CSE or IT branch but i wasnt getting them there . I was getting mechanical branch in them and i didn't wanted to take that branch . What went wrong is definately my JEE score as i didnt scored much to get the top tier 1 delhi colleges with my desired branch. The admission process is quiet easy and it proceeds like this :- apply for ipu counselling through management quota(boards percentage based) or JEE score . wait for the rounds to take place and then submit the money for the same

Faculty

4

The Faculty members in Mait are very supportive and chill i must say and students share a very good bonding with the faculties .We can reach faculties for any time of academic problem and they sort it out . Also the teachers dont pressurise in rote learning. The faculty i like the most is Mrs. Akansha Rajpal and she's the best mathematics teacher in the college according to me . There is no such faculty that i dont like. EXAMS exams include 2 midsems exams and one endsem exam for each semester. Its very easy to score a very decent cgpa and the exams are very easy. i think only 2-5% students fail to pass the exams.

Night Life

1

The night life of the college is worst as the college is placed at the outskirrt area of the city. There are very few gym or cafetarias near college .The nearest area to hangout is rithala metro station which is itself 6-7kms.

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
