Presidency University

Duration of each semester will be for 5 months, in this duration 1 midterm and 1 endterm exam will be conducted. I can rate 8 on the scale of 10 for the difficulty level. Around 20 % students fail to clear the exams but they get another chance to write in make up round(re-exam).

Our university is tied up with some of the universities in Taiwan and Singapore so students who are interested to do their research can apply for it ,any one with prior experience of project and eligibility will be selected.

Students can attend placement drives from 7th semester ,any one with no backlog and above 6.5 CGPA can appear for it. Capgemini, EY , Caterpillar, Tech Mahindra, Accenture were some of the top companies came to hire our seniors. The highest package offered is 15 LPA and the average is 4 LPA.

I pay around 110000 every year which covers tution fees of 90000 and the remaining 20000 includes lab fees, registration fees and development fees, but some of my friends who have joined through management pay 30000 for the same course. We are also benefited by SSP scholarship.

Invencia is the biggest annual fest in our university which will be happening for two days in the campus during our even semester, in which other colleges are invited for the compititions, apart from that there will be a couple of under 25 events.

I got my addmission to this university through KCET, though I had given more priority for other colleges and universities in choice entry I couldn't get in because of low ranking, so had to join this university without any choice.

Course curriculums provide us good understanding of basics but doesn't teach us the current trend of the industry, but apart from teachings some of the faculties are very much approcable to get their guidance.

We have a pretty good gym,indoor and outdoor games facility in our campus. CCD, subway, cafeteria and lawn are the some of the good places to relax in the campus. We don't have any good hang out spot outside the campus apart from tea shops and dhaba since it is located in isolated place.
