There are 3 class tests in every semester which account for internal 30 marks given to the student and 1 final semester exam which account for 70 out of 100 marks for a subject. The difficulties of questions in this exam lies from medium to hard but students can easily get good marks if they study well from class notes and lectures.

The hostel fees is very affordable at 24,000 rupees per year and there are seperate charges for the mess food in hostel.

This college takes admission through the JEE mains and WBJEE examination the cutoff for computer science engineering branch generally lies within 8906 rank in WBJEE.

The faculty to student ratio in this college is decent and faculty members in this college are very friendly and approachable each batch is assigned to the three mentors to whom students can report any kind of grievances they have related to academics or health, etc all faculties are very educated in their respective fields.

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.
