Guru Ghasidas University Full review with Hostel

This course is really good as it provides job in public sector as well as private sector. we get paid according to what we work. We can open our own NGO through social work studies and get it certified and work for the needy's it is totally relevant to real life but the courses we choose here might or might not be relevant choose the subject as soon as you get the time as fast as the portal opens.

The caution money is around 3500. The actual fee is 3450 per semester. there are 8 semesters in BSW according to New Education Policy. So the total course fee is 31100. There may be some changes in the future.

There is a club existing for each and everything available from dance and music to painting to marketing to social working even NSS team is also working and highers teams and students and the event takes students to outer places for working and to learn everybody gets a chance in the third semester 2 have an opportunity for the internship regular events are held international conferences are also held in this university with students from foreign countries and universities of foreign countries. Holi celebrated really great in this college. Every year there is a college West inside the campus. There is a scheme working as Swabhiman thali which provides student food at the cost of just 10 rupees managed by the students of NSS. There is a sarthi yojna run by the NSS students for dropping students from one place to another at cost of just 5 rupees and much more is available in the college.

The infrastructure of the hostels is really good but the food available is a little low quality but better than the other hostels. There is a lot of show of in the food quality of the mess as when the wardens come to check their they providers really good food but on regular days they don't put efforts. The washrooms are really clean by the facility but the metals do not work for the betterment of it is something as happened wrong so they don't call the plumber or the cleaner for anyone but the students are not have good as they sometimes watch the dishes in the basis and block the basins because there is no area provided for cooking or we are not allowed to cook inside the rooms we cannot keep any electrical appliances as the cost of electricity bill is increased. The time is really limited..the time in the hostels gets wasted assembly is held everyday and nobody can violate the rules

I choose this college over the other colleges because the cut off I scored marks were good. In today generation the people who are studying for lawyer engineer or doctors are even unemployed I never wanted to stay and employed. The Bilaspur city which is situated near to my house in Chhattisgarh was easy to be travelled and reason to come back to house.

The faculty members are really good and of helping nature. We go for observational visits on every Friday for field work and note it down in our diaries then prepare a report and submit it to be checked by our respectable mentor selected. The internal exam is held of 15 marks before the actual semester exam,there is no passing marks for it. The written exam is of 70 marks and the assignments carry 15 marks. Before every semester we have to choose new subjects almost 7 subjects are to be chosen for every semester along with one field work.

There is no night life.In the night it's not allowed inside the campus and Koni area is not safe for girls.There and bit good clubs and pubs for better night life. Hostels don't even allow us to go out after 7 on week days and 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. We should not exceed the time limit or are given warning letter.
