faculties are supportive and good environment.
all exams are conducted on punctual time and results are also declared on time.
college location is very good, it is near of albert ekka chowk, which is a very important place in ranchi..

Dislikes

there is no any hostel facility available in the college.
college infrastructure is not so good it is just like an old modern college.
there is no any facility of playground in the campus.

Actually i wanted to persue the CA course, so i chose this college,because in this college, there are no any compulsary class attending.. classes are conducted regularly, but only a few students attend class regularly.

students get many opportunities for internship in many organisations like private banks, CA firms, and other business organisation.. i also worked as a intern in kotak mahindra bank as a salesman......

Placement Experience

placements in this collge is not very good as other college like xavier or iits. but it is good enough for sincere students .. company like tcs,wipro and infosys also hires candiates from this college.. average packge is 2 lacs per annum..

there are 6 semesters, which concludes 3 years.. admission fees is paid yearly, is which approx 2000 for every students and also exam fees is paid approx 700 per semester... Scholarships are given to sc,st andobc students,

There are many functions are conducted on regular basis such as freshers, marwari mahotsav and other programmes.. digital class is also availbale for vocational courses. library facility is also available

i chose this college because it has the most affordable fees , which is approx 3000 per year. and the college loaction is very friendly, it is near the main town of ranchi.. and it is also very famous for commerce course..

Faculty

in 3 years of whole course B.com, there are 6 semesters..the exams are conducted in 6 parts in which 6 mid sem and 6 end sem. mid sem portion is 30% of marks and end sem portion is 70% marks. as an autonomous college, it sets questions internally and exam level is easy to moderate level..

Night Life

no there is no any lightlife facilty in this college because there are no any hostel facility available in this college.. after evening the college campus are completely shut down.. no gym and no any cafes..

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.
