Course Curriculum Overview

4

Generally I haven't put much thought into it I just went with the flow and joined this college and has selected CSE course and to be frank the college is not much updated to the current world and I do personally think that the curriculum they follow is quite old fashioned without much much benefit they all not updated to the current technology and still teaching the old software and programs and if I to speak about the faculty some are generally the best out there we can get and most of them doesn't have that much knowledge

Placement Experience

3

The places in our college are average and to be accurate below average because of the technical industry outside many companies are not interested to hire many people so we cannot get higher packages the average package we get is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annum and the placements we get are decreasing yearly

Fees and Financial Aid

For CSE course offered by CMR Institute of Technology, the tuition fee is approximately ?1,00,000 per year, though the same may vary from one student to another based on various criteria during management quota admission such as marks obtained in various examinations and personal negotiation with college. In my case, the total fee under the management quota is ?8.5 lakh, which includes tuition fees and other compulsory charges like registration fees, lab fees, and examination fees. Other than the fees of tuition, library fees, development fees, and other fees charged for being part of college might be applicable in varying extents from year to year. Also, merit/ category-based/ income-based scholarship is provided in this institution with several other categories and schemes designed by the authorities, which benefits deserving candidates heavily by reducing significant costs. Furthermore, SC/ST/OBC category students could avail of relaxation on fee according to the scheme prevailing in colleges under the consideration of the authorities.

Campus Life

3

We get atleast 3 events per semester and most of them are freshers party, annual day and traditional festivals and the events are conducted like one event per two months and most of them are boring and many the books we get in our college in our library are way too old there are no Books useful for this generation and most of them are at brink of tearing we doesn't get mumany sports per week we get 1 hour sports per week and that too only upto 3 semesters and now we doesn't have any sports periods as I am in my 4th semester and the sports equipment are atleast 10years old which are too old to use and infrastructure in our college is quite old that are just working fine

Admission

It's not that I intentionally joined this college it's just that I couldn't get into other tier 1 colleges because of my marks and I got 33,000 rank in ts EAMCET but I was from other state and that to from oc cast so my marks not efficient for me to join other colleges for the people without any advantages like ews certificate and belong to other state and oc caste it is difficult to get into the tier 1 colleges

Faculty

3

The behaviour of faculties may depend on the person and mostly in our college the faculties are not updated to Todays technology and are very old fashioned even though they do not know much on the subject the action they do is incredible and mostly they are like school teachers instead of college faculties all they do say is that we should present every to college if not they will say that we will make you stand entire day or we will mark absent for entire week even if you come to college and while most are strict and rude faculty there are also faculty who helps us understands us and supports us and they usually maintain a friendly environment around them and some some faculty even as amazing knowledge in their own subject My favourite faculty is prathusya madam because the madam understands the students and supports them and she is also becomes serious only in necessary situations The facultie whom I dislike is sattapan Selvan basically he is unfit for a teacher role because he always shouts unnecessarily and as a lot of temper and always ignore what the students has to say and doesn't even have knowledge in his own subject In our college there two mid exams and one internal lab exam and one external lab exam and a semester exam Most of students fail in semester exams while less students fail in external lab exams the exams are a bit difficult only For euver one faculty there are atleast 50 students

Night Life

4

We doesn't have any gym facility in our college and the cafeteria is quite big but food we get there is doesn't come with better quality or quantity and the prices are not that much reasonable and after 5pm anyone. Doesn't allow into the college especially for boys as girls hostel is beside the college only and the campus starts from morning 9:10 am and closes at 4:05 pm exactly and for hostel we have to in the hostel before 6pm for boys that too with wardens permission and for girls it is 5pm

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
