Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course I chose was ece. I was influenced by my father. The curriculum prepares for the real world application is something a myth. The subject is totally theoretical and for improvements.college could have had an initiation Need to build a small projects. in the last year we had an opportunity to build a small working robot car which was a great initiative I would appreciate and will be welcomed for such more workshops. Frequency of the exam is very often (1month or less gap approx) and it is well structured but before hand preparation for exams is must in should because most of the announcements are last minute.

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible for campus placements around 3rd year end. I have not attended any placements as so far and the name of companies which I got to know from others they have attended were capgemini and a The highest package of herders 8LPA and the The average package would be around 5 lpa. Students who are willing to get a job in that category arounf 5% to 8% students approximately. Im not sitting for placements and my plans after degree are still unclear and I'm still figuring out.

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year - skill development = 2000rs, examnination fees=10000rs: total = 30,000rs 2nd year - miscellaneous fees = 15,000rs, tuition fees = 90,293rs, examnination fees = 10,000rs : tota; = 1,15,293rs 3rd year - tution fees = 62,573rs, miscellaneous fee = 42,720rs, examnination fee = 10000rs: total = 15,293 4th year - tuition fee = 62,573rs, miscellaneuos fees = 44,720rs, examnination fees = 10,000rs : total = 1,17,293 rs its almost same for other batchmates i know. there are few scholarships which is availed by sc/st community and other shcolarships on our own based on our skills and oppurtunity. fees has increased when shifted to new campus.

Campus Life

4

There are occasionally happening some technical festivals. I am not part of any of the club I wanted to be in one but I did not get selected. There are a lot of activities other than studies going on a lot of events go on which I attend and they are within the vast topics like management, drama, art, music everything. We had got an insight that there is a competition in another college which technically comes under inter college competition, Related to marketing and in a team effort I we won first prize. Classrooms are pretty spacious and there is a little bit problem with the board visibility people who are sitting at the back of the class. Very occasionally there are some sports event also going on. There are lot of students on social groups and clubs inside but the reach is not that social.

Admission

I chose the college through kcet and I was very lucky to get this in spite of my rank being a bit low comparative to other colleges which I got during the mock round of kct this was one of the best option I could opt for and I couldn't make it to the other colleges because I didn't select them as their ranking was not that good and the admission process was very simple I got selected through kct and I got the college in my last mock round and it got accepted and I just had to come to the college pay the fees and some details should be filled in the college. I chose this college because of the faculty and the ranking was good among the colleges I had selected.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is around 1: 80. The faculty to student relationship is quite cordial and approachable. teachers are welcoming to any kind of doubts. The faculty who taught Network analysis, electromagnetic waves and open elective as python. The interaction of the teacher with student was funny so. teacher who had biased the students so we didn't like him. The difficulty of the exam is moderate and exams are to conducted every month. Almost 4% - 5% people fail in every semester. The course is enough relevant to what they teach.

Night Life

3

I'm a day scholar student I do not have a concept of late night activities. One of the good cafes inside the college campus is grains and gossips.near by cafeteria is available in the medical block. Gyms are only available to people who are in hostel. Outside the campus there are no much places but I heard from someone that there is a good Biryani place ahead of college.

Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.
