Course Curriculum Overview

4

i always wanted to choose this course since it's scope is good . They kept some quizs, workshops and hackathons so that we can apply the knowledge we have learnt and do some pratical stuff. The winners are also awarded with money and some events also provide internship offers for the winners for free. The frequency of exams is like every 2 months. Per exam timing is like 3 hrs which is quite enough for me The questions are quite difficult which requires us the use some logical thinking

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are provided by internshala . the college has collaporated with them to provide internships from different companies. THey also provide free internships too. The winners of hackathons are also provide with cash awards as well as free internships. The faculty works with the students so that they can help students make projects and get funded. They also help students get connected to people who can provide you internships and fudning for your projects.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for campus placements from 5or 6 semester. companies like tcal microsoft etc came to our college and around 70% of them were placed. The average package is around 10 lakhs and the higest is 35 lakhs. My plan is to get placement from college then work in the company for few years before chaning it

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees i paid per year is 145495 tuition fees is 38000 and remaining stuff is for other stuff Scholarships are also provided for students tuition fees is same for everyone but the other fees are reduced for backward categories

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good. They held fests and events from time to time and the frequency is quite good. The libraby has a ton of books both related to course and technicals stuff. There is a smartboard in every single classroom and computers are also provided for students to use in the library so as to complete there projects aor learn stuff related to their course. Sports is also good but only the ones who go and apply for it are only allowed. There is dedicated grounds for cricket, football. basketball etc. Alot of clubs are available in the college but you have to go and approach the faculty for it since they won't tell you about it. I too got to know about it quite late.

Admission

I applied for amc collge too but i changed to DSU last min. Since i got a seat over there. Also my cousins had already studied there so my parents approved this college so i was able to get an admission. Amc college is also good but the traffic near the college is alot compared to the traffic near Dsu. it takes around theh same amount of time for me to go to both the colleges and since the name of DSU is more than amc i thought of joining DSU. THE admission process was smooth and it happened only in a day. The exams accepted are DSAT, COMEDK,KCET,JEE mains. For locals KCET is preferred. But for students from outside i would suggest coming through DSAT since the fees is reduced.

Faculty

4

The student-faculty ratio is decent . The faculty is kind and helps the students in need. The faculty is sweet but not too much they maintain the student-teacher relationship as it should be not too friendly nor too strict. There are 2 mid sem exams before the end sem. Course curriculum is good as far as i've been there. i would say it's decent.

Night Life

3

There is a gym in the hostel and the equipments are fine. there aren't as many equipments but it's fine. There are a few cafeterias. the one from the medical the medical one is the best looking one but is the also most expensive as well. there are foodtrucks around the campus too if you'd like to have a bite. Library is good has a few private dicussion rooms and a room for computers which students can use. There is a lake too in the college so a few people also come ther is hangout. The college timings are from 8:30 to 4:25. The students from hostel must be inside the inside the hostel building within 10 in the night but htey are allowed to roam around inside the building.

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.

In UVCE placement rate is almost good but we need more effort on self study . Most of the students works in internship in 7 or 8 th sem it means before graduation then they will got good placements. Some of you directly god good placements without working in internship.. Because putting there efforts..
