Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course cyber physical systems is linked to the world where we create a software system which can control the hardware directly we connect the embedded systems and store the data in the cloud this is the next generation course and can be helpful in the future to make thie system smart like Smart home and IOT kind of projects my suggestion would to be to add more coding related content to the curriculum so that we would be perfect in both the hardware and the software knowledge to apply in the real world applications

Internships Opportunities

4

Companies and roles offered depends on your branch and field of interest basic requirements to sit in on campas internships is having above 7 cgpa and no back logs .big companies like microsoft ,goldmansacs ,tata, wipro, boeing come for internships in 3rd year and placements in 4 year .

5

The overall experience till now has been hood with no regerts if u participate in all the clubs , events and the seminars then you can learn alot and overall development will be better the classrooms are good with AC and the labs are also maintenance in good condition

There 25 hostel blocks so it depends on which block you take .newer blocks are better and well furnished like block 22 and 21 for girls and block 14,15,16,17,18,19,20 for boys. Block 5,6,10 are boys block with common washroom which are not advised. Mess food is good. There are night canteens which operate till 2 am

Admission

I was considering to join MS ramaiah in banglore got mechanical in that college but ultimately after considering all the parameters need for engineering i considered MIT for the overall development in the circular and the co ciriculum

Faculty

3

In the first semester and second semester the ratio was 1:80 but from second year it reduced to 1:60. It is easier to score in assignments and quizes. Then there are two exams midsems and endsems. Any student with good internals has a higher chance to clear the subject easily

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.
