- Very large campus and greenery all around
- Centeral library is very big and a lot of books is present as well as there is a seperate library for engineering students
- There is no ragging in the college, there is a temple in the campus, 2 lakes in the college
Dislikes
- Departments are very far from each other
- Placements are not that good you have to put some efforts on your own college doesn't help much
- Attendence is compulsory without 75℅ attendence you can't sit in the end semester exam
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is similar as other universities there is no any specifications. Coures are similar to old school type means simply you have to learn any subject in the class some subjects have practical like engineering physics or engineering chemistry. Every class is of 1 hour.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees is around 32000. For the sc and st students fees is around 10000 per year. There will no additional fees every thing is included in it. You have to buy dresses on your own like lab court, sports dress, appron etc. Total fees of all 4 years not included hostel fess is around 128000. Hostel fees of 1 year is around 22500 in which 3 months of mess is also include. As per my knowledge college doesn't provide any type of scholarship, you will get rewards if you topped in a semester.
Campus Life
A fest named Equilibrio a tech fest is organized in the college every year once. Library is very big and you get almost every book you want. Every class has a digital board which helps students to learn better. Sports and NSS is added in our course. Many clubs like Tarang for music, Natraj kala manch for dance, Udaan for poetry and journals, Gfg tech club etc.
Admission
I also got NIT meghalaya but as i come from bihar and the culture of meghalaya is so different and also very far from my town whereas chhatisgarh is in the middle of India with vary commom culture almost similar to bihar as well as fees is very low here that's a majot factor.
Faculty
Faculties is very well knowledgeable and very experienced. And there is lot of professor in the campus for your guidance. In my first semester a professor named Jitendra bharadvaj, my BEE professor, very nice and always try to motivate us towards study. Exams are categories in 3 terms Class test 1:15 marks Class test 2:15marks End semester:60 marks.
Night Life
Gym is not good, very few students visit college gym Cafeteria is nice and big almost every time you will find students there. Campus is open for all on regular days except sunday and saturday. Hostel timing for boys is 9:00 pm at night and for girls 7:00 pm and on Sunday 4:00 pm
