Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is not bad but we cant get that much practical and real world knowledge these curriculum. It is mostly theory based so I suggest to change the curriculum according to the real world scenarios. The frequency of exams is high so that we cant prepare for any other competitions and focus on other skill development.

Internships Opportunities

4

This college focus mainly on campus placements and not that much in internships. There are many startups that offers internships inside the campus but that are mostly non-stipend internships. if we talk about the projects they should be unique and highly impactable.

Placement Experience

4

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placements and they should have to complete certain number of credits to get eligible for placements. There are nearly 150 companies that visit our campus for placements like TCS, Infosis, Wipro, Google, Amazon etc. The highest package is 1 crore and the company that provides highest offers is TCS.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees is around 160000 per year and the admission fees is 15000. There is no other fees than these two. If you are opting hostel then you have pay for that. My hostel is fees is around 100000. My batchmates fees varies from 1 lakh to 2 lakh according to the category. The fees will increase in the last 2 years. There are many scholarships for the students based on merit like scholarship for girls,SC and ST students and branch topper scholarship and based on CGPA and based on many aspects.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is extra ordinary focusing on social aspects and there are nearly 150 clubs so we can develop our extra curricular knowledge. In library there are almost every genre book so the rane and accessibility of books is good. The sports activities is average.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility is good. We will get the hostel according to the fees that we pay. The mess facility is also the same that we will get the quality according to the money we pay. The registration process is based on the CGPA so whoever has highest CGPA goes first for registration.

Admission

I chose this college because the campus life is good and the placements are good. compare to other colleges VIT gives flexibility in courses and timings. This college has well renowned name is engineering and technology so I chose this college. The admission process is very simple, first you have to give the entrance exam and wait for the results. According to the rank you should apply for the courses and if you are shortlisted then you have to pay the fees and get admission. Mostly every thing is online so it is accessible from anywhere

Faculty

3

There are some good faculties who teach the subject very clear and clever but at the same time there are some faculties who are very strict and arrogant. They dont teach the subject fully in depth but give self study. The course structure is very hectic because the classes runs at average 7 hrs daily and there are 2 mid terms and 1 end sem with lot of assignments. First mid term is closed book and it weighs 15% in total weightage and second mid term is open book that weighs 15% and the difficulty level is high and the end sem exam weighs 40% and the remaining 30% are assignments and quiz.

Night Life

4

The gym and cafeterias close after 9 in night and the library last till 12 am. We should enter the hostels before 9 pm which is a foolish rule. The famous hangout places inside and outside the college is limited, there are some restaurants and cafe to hangout but not any parks or small tourist place to hangout
