College of veterinary science and animal husbandry Bhubaneswar PASU SEVA MAHAN DHARMA..

This course is a 5 and half year course. Out of these four year of studying and one year of internship. From first year to fourth year the difficulty level increase. BVSC and AH,this course is on treatment of animals and growing of domestic animals for economical purposes.

In the fifth professional year internship is offered to students. This is for one year in which they practice the field problems to the animals. They are sent to different farms for the practice of treatment of various animals.Stipend is given to them every month which is approx ?17000.

After completing the course you will be a veterinary doctor. There is an exam called OPSC VAS which occurs after the release of vacant posts in the state. The passed students are posted in the veterinary dispensaries as VAS . Previous year 95% of students were posted. Students can also go for pg in the college. Provision of stipend is there for pg students which is ?10000.

Yearly fees for this course is ?30000.Tution fee is ?18000.Caution fee, registration fee, admission fee,lab fee etc summed to ?10000.For cost sharing seats additional fee of about ?100000 have to pay. There are also scholarships opportunities are for students according to their eligibility criteria.

In this college you will find the cultural, literary, athletic and dramatic society. Veterinary day,milk day,vet fest etc like large functions are celebrated with chaos every year. There is a large library with books from different streams and subjects you will able to study. Smart classrooms with ac,fans and projector ????? . Extracurricular activities like NCC,NSS,PE are also in the college.

Students opted for hostel live in the hostel present inside the college campus. Hostel is large with a playground. Mess is present in the hostel. Food is of top quality and affordable with healthy. Cleanliness is everywhere and less chance to get affected by diseases. There is gym,guest room, common room,garage for vehicles.

I came into know about this college in my tenth class after that after I finally decided to join the college. To join the college you have to appear for OUAT ENTRANCE EXAM. This exam is of 200 marks which is computer based. The subject's are physics,chemistry and biology which have to study. You have to clear the minimum cutoff marks. For the evaluation of percentile 25% of class 12th and 11th are taken into consideration.

The bonding between faculties and students are like big brother's and sisters. Almost all the faculties in the college are very talented and highly qualified with good ranks in national level exams. They not only teaches but also guides in character development. Every year three internal exams occur and in the last annual exam. These exams are easy and can be scored good marks.

Classes in the college starts in the morning and then after lunch upto evening. In the college there is a park where students can hangout after class. Outside the college campus there is also a market where everything available.
