Overview of C.V.Sc and A.H, Bhubaneswar

Curriculum is vast and exhaustive(5.5 years) out of which 4 yrs are for studies and 1 year for rotating internship.It is one of the safe and good option for students looking as back-up for neet exam.U will find many similarities with human body. Additionally, u will get dr designation at the end of curriculum.. So overall a good course to pursue. Veterinary science is not as prominent as medical sciences in the country..Yet it is gaining importance nowadays.Its importance is growing rapidly.

College have a veterinary clinical complex in which final year students do internship for a year.This gives them exposure to field conditions as well as diagnosis of disease occuring in animal which becomes beneficial for them in their job period. Stipend of 15k is offered from govt each month

For general seat,the course fees is 1,70,055.On exhaustion of general seat during counseling,student can opt for cost sharing seat which is total of ?6,84,305.Reserved category have different fee structure(less).This fee increase by minimal amount yearly. Provision of college scholarships,OUAT scholarship(University scholarship).Also state scholarship is available.

Annual function, Foundation days, Important festivies are held in the college.It is not that grand yet not that bad too. The central Library gives accesses to almost every curriculum books.It has various other books too for refreshment and knowledge gain. Classroom are air conditioned and smart board with stair arrangement bench desk are available.No issues. Events are held in almost sports starting from cricket to BGMI.This can be inter batch or inter college. Campaigns are held in important days.The NSS Unit takes care of this. Horse riding and NCC related tasks are also done.

In other colleges like pursuing bsc I found it more job securing and reliable. In fact, the job securing is easier as compared to medical sciences. Since I didn't clear neet, rather than pursuing any normal course i preferred to opt this. My rank was good and i secured a general seat. The OUAT exam is held every year for admission in all constituent colleges of OUAT. Additionally, few seats are reserved for the candidates who take admission through neet score through VCI counseling.

Faculties are quite good and they are always eager to help students.Unlike other govt college,the faculties are like that of any private institute..Calm and friendly. LPM dept has very good faculties.. Anatomy faculties are strict. 3 internal exams(weightage of 10) out of which best 2 are picked and 1 external exam(80 weightage) are held per professional year.Most students pass easily.Teachers co-operate a lot to make this happen.

The syallabus is similar to that of neet.Prepare for NEET.You are done.Paper consists of 200 questions.No negative marking including Physics, Chemistry and biology.Aditionally during rank publication marks of 10th and 12th along with the marks of entrance are clubbed to arrive at a final rank.The entrance holds 50%weightage.And the boards are 25% each.
