Know My College

My love for nature and plants leads me to choose this course. We spent 3 years in this course that comes with many challenges and teach us to how to face these challanges in given time and prepare us for our future as well. But the improvement area is our education system is more focused in writing work files, assignments and mug up things , it should be more practical based presentation, projects so that learning will be easy.

Total fees my my course that is B.Sc. (Hons.) Botany is 43,500(general category )for 3 year. Per year we have to submit around 14,500 . It is quite affordable as compared to other colleges and remains nearly same for every new batch.

My overall experience is good in this college apat from infrastructure everything is quit good. Societies are managed well . I was in debate club in my first year and it was a good experience. Library is also very good infact it is my favourite place in college it has so many books for academics , novel etc.

This course was my priority due to my interest but this college was my priority due to its less fees because I'm not afford mor than 15000 per year on my academics. I appeared for CUET exam in 2023 though which I got addmission this is common exam for all bachelor courses specially in DU.

Faculty members are very supportive and help us every way possible. They are very punctual and perfection loving. Exams are held in semester wise pattern usually in nov-dec and April- may. We have to submit exam fees in every semester before exams and it ranges from 1000-2500. Marking scheme is distributed that is attendence , internal assessment, continuous assesment, mock exam, practical exam, theory exam and assignment all have different marks distribution according to department.

I'm a day scholar so I don't know much about night life but it has really big ground , a very beautiful garden , a coffee place , a canteen which is so so, a very nice library. Outside college there are many hangout place there is a very big jheel park , then jhandewalan , Rajiv chowk , karol Bagh and other eating spots are also very close.
