Remarks

I will say, go for it if you do not wanna be the part of the rat race. But still use your mind see all the plus and minus equations for you and then decide. All the best.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Well, I will say that most of the things in the course curriculum are well managed and structured. They are more research-oriented equipped with nice labs for their practice. The focus of the curriculum is not only to crack the college exam but to develop new ways to think for recent year problems in the profession. Also, some of the great vocational courses are also included in syllabi so that there will be total development of students professionally as well as individually. Exam structure: 2 UTs(15 marks each) and 1(70marks)main exam in every semester. The bottom line is the curriculum designed in such a way that it is for your 'Empowerment, Enhancement and then Employment'.

Placement Experience

3

Well, there is no clause regarding internship in the curriculum. But a hard check is on projects, industrial training, and visit. Talking about placement I will give 5/10. The problems are not with students, they are well skilled. The problem is its location. The college is very far from big cities where companies hunt for talents. But the local industries like Petrochemical and chemical industries provide a pool of opportunities for all students (can be of any stream).

College Events

4

Well as it is a technological university of Maharashtra state, the most important event is off course 'Cynosure'. It is the annual tech fest held mostly in Feb-march. Also in same period annual gathering 'Abhiyanta Vasant' is also held. The count of official annual events and unofficial occasional events is good. It will groom you. Build your confidence and will encourage you to lead the pack.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I studied the B.Tech course in Mechanical Engineering. Fees move around 60000+/- 5000 for the first year. Same for next year with small changes. Other expenses will be of hostel fee+mess fee, if you are not living in the gov. hostel then expenses will be a little bit higher.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't. But there are very helpful scholarship facilities for poor as well as SC/ST/OBC/Other students, which will help them in their current and further endeavours.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is friendly. Well, the college believes in unity in diversity. As i mentioned earlier about the events and labs they are well above moderate, even sports, debates and robotics too. I had participated in most of them so i know very well that they are very well organized and good for our social health and social side buildup.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel fee will be around 25 to 30 thousand including mess. These hostels are government hostels. Hostel facilities are moderate they are enough for one's need but not for one's greed. For more comfort and luxury there are provate hostels. But i will recommend government hostels because it will hold you in a studious environment and mood all the way in your journey.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni meet happens approx. after each year. Senior students always stay in contact after college as well as in college tenure, even professors. Offcourse they are very helpful and friendly.

Admission

Well, first of all, I got the information about this college from an industrialist who was also a pass out of the same college. I wanted to get admitted into a government college who gives more focus on practical knowledge rather than only bookish knowledge. Talking about the admission process, it is simple and sophisticated. You will be provided with volunteers for your help in any problem. All the things related to money are through online banking so I suggest students who are willing to take admission there must have online banking available (their card or their parent's card). Mostly the admissions happen from May to June in rounds. Precaution you should take while going admission is carrying all the related original documents with at least 3 copies of each of it. The bottom line is 'Precaution is better than cure.'

For some branches, it is great, like Mechanical, Extc, CS, IT, Chemical. But there are some problems in branches like civil, petro, electrical. On 1 to 10 scale(Quantitative Analysis) : Mechanical : 8 Extc : 6 CS : 6 IT : 6 chemical : 7 Civil : 4 Petro : 5 Electrical : 4
