Likes

The thing I like that teacher I our class use projector to teach us in class
Next thing I like that faculty of our college is helpful.
In our college the students gets to join various seminars which college authorities with time to time

Dislikes

The main thing which is I disliked about our college is that our college campus is small
We don't have proper hygienic toilets in our college which is a tough thing
And nextly due to ongoing various construction works our college environment is not friendly enough

Course Curriculum Overview

As I want to appear for civil service examinations in future, so for me political science subject will be in my future life as this subject give me a overview idea of the subject and overall I like the subject

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

A person yearly expense for the B.A course in AVC nearly about 15000 to 20000 thousand, but there are relaxation who have valid income certificate with them, the expense will be low, and there are scholarship for Sc/St and other tribes.

Campus Life

In our college we celebrate various festivals and cultural programs such as biju, Saraswati Puja festival, college week rally and many more and in our college u will get to celebrate 3 to 4 fresherman party in the campus

Admission

I choose this college because the college has a good reputation and one of the leading pioneer colleges in the state and most importantly it has good communication within the city and nearby we have pg and rented rooms facility

Faculty

As a student of Arya Vidyapeeth College, I want to tell that I have a decent conversation with our faculties as they share positive attitude around us which help us to face challenges in our life and we love our teachers

Night Life

We mostly hangout in our class only during off periods as our campus is little bit small comparing to other colleges and most of time we have to hear construction workers' sound due to the ongoing construction works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institution provides a vast syllabus prescribed according to the courses . I did hons in english so in my field I had to study a vast syllabus ranging from ancient greek and roman literature to modern dramas The English course consists of poems, dramas, novels, novellas and many other. The course or syllabus is varies with different stage of semester or year In the first semester we had study the follows Greek literature and epic Roman literature Early indian literature In the second semester Roman literature Indian literature In the third semester Popular literature British literature American literature ....... The proficiency of students is checked in the exams where in the first sessional the level of questions remain easy Moderate to difficult in the second sessional and increases the level of difficulty with the progression of semesters If I will talk about the pros of the course It gives an insight of to the vastness of the world of literature which helps the students in different fields. It gives an opportunity to study different stories written by different writers from different countries and helps in to learn the culture, language, society, polity and the history of a particular period of literature movement. It also helps the students to think critically and creatively to utilise it in the real life scenarios. There are also some cons of this course It's vastness can sometimes make students burnt out completely due to the vastness of the course and the limited time frame where you have to cover everything from poems, novels with 300 pages to seminars , internships

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers should be cut slack to maintain their mental health. They are not provided enough rest. The exam schedule are not at all managed properly. It is quite hectic and students fail to cope up with it
