Course Curriculum Overview

5

The specific aspects that influenced me to choose this course are that I can learn very much about coding, the curriculum doesn't prepare very much in 1st year, but after 1st year, prepares us very much for real-world applications, no suggestions, frequency is very high of exams, and difficulty is medium

Internships Opportunities

5

I don't know much about the companies but many companies offered roles under internships, with a good amount of paid stipend, There are various projects like web development, app development, and full stack development, and outcomes are very good with a high amount of benefits

Placement Experience

4

After 4th semester, students become eligible for campus placements The companies visited are Amazon, tcs, Wiper, mahindra, Infosys, Dell. I don't have any idea about no. of offers made, the highest package is 25 L.P.A and the average is 4-5 L.P.A percentage of students getting placed is around 80%, I will apply for off-campus placements after getting the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay yearly fees like around 1 lakh 45 thousand (including hostel and mess) The tution fees is around 56 thousand, caution fees is 20000 (refundable), admission fees is 20000, development fees.

Campus Life

5

The names of the annual events are like ICARIA, NOVATOS , technical festivals like hackathons are held, the range is very high of books and journals available in the library, The facilities and technological provisions are very good within the classrooms, i love that, There are various sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus

Hostel Facilities

5

There are unlimited wifi , adequate amount of water , 24 hour electricity with backup generators , clean rooms , daily cleaning service available, Meal quality is average , not soo much good as well as bad , menu items ar good, Registration process for hostel , is to fillup forms , and affordability is good

Admission

I applied for nit, Agartala, but I didn't get confirmed, because of my board percentage, which is below the 75% criteria. I got rejected from nit, Agartala for the same reason I mentioned earlier, the admission process is very easy in our college, and eligibility is over 50 % in boards, just it, exams accepted for this course are jee, tbjee, iutat and lateral entry, exams most preferred is tbjee, cutoff is like 70 percentile, admission experience is good

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is 1:60 , the relationship between faculties and students are very good , as i am new , i can't say which faculty is the best , but all are good , there are various exams like , internal , mid-term,end-term, the course curriculum is much relevant

Night Life

5

There are total 3 gyms , 1 open-gym , 2 inside gyms , and there is no closing time in them, there are various cafeterias in the campus opening time 8 a.m , closing time -8pm , library also same like cafeteria, public are closing after 10 pm , hostel has good timings and also campus have, famous hangout places inside is the cafeteria anfd the garden , the locality safe is the campus garden

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements in NIT Agartala are actually decent, especially for the top branches like CSE, IT, ECE, Mechanical, and Electrical. Every year many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, Capgemini, Deloitte, Microsoft, etc. visit the campus. The average package is around 7–8 LPA for CSE/ECE, while core branches get slightly lower, and the highest goes up to 40+ LPA in some years. For other branches like Civil, Chemical, and Production, the placements are a bit lower, but students still manage through campus plus off-campus drives. What I like is that the placement cell is active, and we also get internship opportunities in our 3rd year which help us prepare.
