One of the well known college

Studying in SFIT is like full of joy and happiness. we gain technical as well as cultural knowledge. the infrastructure is simply WOW. the canteen and food is always upto mark. the teaching and non teaching staffs r loving and caring.

As IT and computer field r blooming everywhere so it is better to take IT or computer and the placement companies are mostly of the IT and CMPN background so it is beneficial to take IT or Computer. Extc is also good but there r very less student who r placed as compared to the other departments

Interships are not provided from our college but the placement committee helps us and gives us information about the various internships available outside. they help us in applying for internships abroad too.

Placement committee are very the energetic one.They start training us from the 3rd year. they manage and get alot of companies to our college. The highest package was around 7 lakh and the avenger is around 4-5lakh. Almost 80-90 % of the students get placed by the end of the final year.

There are various events celebrated in our college.ie both technical and cultural. there r technical events like Mosaic in which various committee which organise technical fun games. there are pragati and prayas as technical project. colloquium which is conducted by the IT department in this they students have paper presentation and poster presentation competition. and then the cultural fest called IRIS which is inter college cultural fest. in this various college students participate in various sports, and cultural activities. overall there is full of enjoyment with studies

Fee structure is feasible. it is same and almost equal to other engineering colleges. Fee structure includes all tuition fee , miscellaneous fee ,library fee, etc. according to me it is feasible and convenient to pay

I guess Education loan is provided from our college. i am not sure but there is a syrian bank nearby college which provides education loan to the students which is very helpful for the students.

Extracurricular activities include sports , technical competition, etc in sports students from our college go to other colleges for competition and have won many achievements there. sports include. Football, volleyball, cricket, chess etc and throwball for girls. technical competition include paper and poster presentation, website presentation etc there r various commetties like IEEE, IETE etc in which students and their whole grp conducts workshops for the betterment of the students

Our college doesnt provide hostel facilities. but there are students who stay in hostel and study. as there are many hostels near by my college is it feasible for them to come college and study.

There is an alumni meet every year in our college. it is fun to see all the alumni to gather together and rejoice. they r indeed helpful as they help us by sponsoring during the cultural fest and even help us by sharing their experience in their sccessful life

Exam structure of our college is very smooth. there are two unit test ie two Internal assessment tests. of 20 marks and then average of that is added to our final marks. there are practical exams ,vivas of the respective subjects. and even we have bonus 5 marks for attendance. if our attendance is above 95% -5 marks ,90%-4 marks ,85%-3 marks and so on. all these marks are the oral marks which will be sent to the boards which is to be added woth our written semester paper marks

After getting the JEE marks we have to apply for CAP rounds in which we have to put the colleges according to out preference. as i had put SFIT as 1st so i got through the 2nd Cap round. after that i had to go t that college and book my admission.

Faculty in SFIT are well experienced and give us real life scenarios to compare with the dealing problems. They help all the students in all the difficulties. all the professors are fun loving and always think about the betterment of the students
