Manipur University briefing

There is a lack in utilising so many space which are available.No question on how and why but wants the administration department to observe and utilised the funds for future benefit for the University.

In master level the subject tends to differ from departments.In ma department we have 4 subjects from 1 to 4 semester.And in 3 sem we can opt whichever we prefer.On the base of subject I can proudly say that it is very much helpful on pursuing our course and for the future.Atlast it is a central base University which gives more benefit for us.

Until now there is no notice on the intern as in Manipur there isn't much company or work available in private sector.But, hopefully we are waiting to implement the system and taking certain steps and awareness on the available companies in Manipur,trying to create a bond between the students and the employers.Hoping and waiting patiently that it'll be worked out sooner or later which is what we want and required for most of the students or for all.

As mentioned above that there isn't much companies available for us to work or get employed so after completing Master students tends to outside the state and work or prepare for the state civil or government jobs which are available in our state.Needful to say that though there are certain jobs it hard to get into the job which is a great barrier for us students.Waiting for the government to take up certain steps to avoid this type of uncertainties,which is not yet happening.

In our University there is too many programmes the main hightlights are 1.freshers meet tends to celebrate by own department and as a whole at last. 2.MUSU sports meet 3.Commerce fest 4.Manfete 5.Thabal chongba 6.yaoshang N many tribal celebrations because the students are conclusive of many tribes as well.

For the 1semester we have to pay Rs 3780 and exam fees differ from semester ranging from 1300 different according to the departments.And we have to admit for different semester with lesser amount starting from Rs1600 and this also differ from departments as well

As of now according to my knowledge there is lack of information on the scholarship.There us one which is for the tribal students out here which pays for every students ranging from Rs 15000 to Rs 18000 aspect on hosteller or not.Apart from this there might be many availability but there is a no presence of knowledge or awareness to the students as of now.

There is a 2 football field,volley court,and basketball,gym and indoor sports for the students which are freely accessible for all the students.As it is the central University the space and availability is in plenty wherein students can possibly access to all the facilities available.

Hostel infrastructure are upt the expectation in Manipur one room allocated to 2 students which is comfortably acommodable by students n water supply as well as the food are upto the satisfaction.The hostel are well of course satisfactory but in order to get a hostel our application process is the main struggle as there is a comparison in the UGC GCPA.Thus,reaults in many needed candidates unable to get into.

Yes,certain alumini often visits our department and gives information on what can be done after completing the course and even tries to collaborate in order to give job to the students.There are certain entrepreneur from our Alumini which in fact cretes repect and recognition for our department and inspire us in taking corrective measures for our future.

We have to write 2 or 3 test or assignment or seminar based on the teachers.And for the final semester exam we have to write for 70 marks out of which we have to obtain 35 marks as passing marks if not our internal doesn't add up and we get fail.

First we have to apply for the particular course,then we have to wait whether the required documents are attached.And later on have to write the exam based on MCQ.If we pass or get through then the department will issue a slip of proof of passing,we have to process the necessary steps of paying fees etc,in order to pursue our course in the particular course

The faculty in our department are all well versed which means we can say that they teaches us to the fullest knowledge we required.And in in top of that they are open minded while communicating to the students which creates a healthy environment among the students and the faculty.Especially our HOD who is a single lady in our department and she cares for us upto the extend n helps us out in many ways which creates a very good impact on the students.
