Course Curriculum Overview

4

For me it seems ok. But the question which comes in exams mostly moderate to difficult. Teaching method sometimes need to change because they need to understand all students are not same and to bting them in one page they need to change their teaching style. The whole semester contains only exam, exam and exam.

Internships Opportunities

5

Yes for bsms student they generally go abroad like canada for internships snd some of them join in the in house lab also but for msc students we are not allowed to go other colleges for internship which was good for us.i learnt so many thing.iiser is a very nice place to learn so many things.

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester wise fees is 49800 for general and obc students. For sc,st the tuition fees is cancelled.inspire scholarship is available.smt. gouri mukherjee scholarship is given to one student. No other scholarship is available from the institute.

Campus Life

4

So many sports facility is here.annual sports also took place. Our library is very nice, well decorated and so many types of books are there but availability is less. Student run different clubs like chemistry club, music, dance club etc.

Hostel Facilities

3

After phd 2nd year single rooms are alloted. In msc 2nd year we also get single room. For one person one bed ,one shlef, one study table is avilable. For rent room it is outside of campus it will take 10-15 mint to go via auto. In mess the food wuality is moderate.

Admission

I did not get any iit, then i get here and i knew iiser bhopal is famous for chemistry that's why i came here and it was my best decision in my entire life. For msc the students come from CCMN counselling cracking IIT JAM.

Faculty

3

Faculty to student ratio is 1.3. In classroom teachers are soo helpful but sometimes the way of teaching needs to get changed. But in lab teachers are very very strict. Some teachers tought students are their slave,i need to mention not all the teachers. Even my PI is very strict. Rach course will have mid sem and end sem, depending upon the teachers quiz system keeps changing. Again the grading policies depend upon the teacher.

Interview Experience

5

For msc no interviews were held,we came via online counsrlling after qualifying JAM exam. For phd i have heard questions are moderate generally. Depending on the teacher the toughness of question changes just to check the confidence of studsnt.

Night Life

5

Opeing time is 9 o clock and closing time is around 12 o clock for library in general but in exam time it remains open for 2 o clock. After 1 o clock noone can be there outside of campus. Here is no such places for hangout outside.Inside hillside is a nice place.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chemistry is a subject that has been used in literally everything like pharmaceuticals, industrial work and teaching too. There are our teachers who help us to do experiments in the lab since chemistry is a practical subject so need to have a good knowledge of practicals but sometimes due to lack of chemicals and lack of good machines there is some difficulty in obtaining results In order to improve the whole thing first we need to fix the devices and have a good budget for apparatus too. The 1st and 3rd semester are quite long while the 2nd and 4th semester are quite short but the syllabus in these are almost same so we need to change the weightage of syllabus according to semester.

Remarks:

in the above field, the view I gave was totally good. just a few negative things left so they are here; university campus is located in a remote area so there is transportation issue as well as the connectivity issue even after being the wifi campus. but I am sure that the university staff is doing their best to solve each and every problem faced by students.
