My expierence in IISER BHOPAL

The curriculum is basically designed to prepare you and your brain for thinking about real world problems and applying the concepts into them thus trying to solve them , study methods are good and vary as per professor.

Most probably inter ships offered either through portals or self applying , projects ongoing are cool and amazing to work on ,with professors. You can also apply for internships outside the college to other colleges.

Tution fees per semester 100000(49800 per sem) Caution fees 10000 Misclleneous 9600 Hostel fees 12000(6000 per sem) Mess fees( 3500 per month) There are no further add ons apart from all these already added.

Campus life is amazing involving many fests of every club happening all round the year and festivals and the ultra amazing annual fest , sports meet , inter iiser intra iiser everything is so fun and amazing . Their are many clubs and groups and activities run by students all round the year.

Room contains a bed ,a study table, a cupboard an almirah, a study lamp . Mess food is bearable enough to eat but not daily , so there are cafeterias as well . Hostel fees is quite affordble which is 6000 for 4 months . Since their is no option for day boarding all the students stay in hostels.

IISER 's are considered best for research and hence i choose them because of my intrest in this vast and wild field. For learning to think about why and how of the phenomenons occurring around us . The dmission process was as similiar as any othe college involving multiple rounds of councelling .

Faculty to student ration is o ly kept according to classes , subject and year courses therefore this keeps on changing respectively as in any other college. For a sing semester we have 2 quizzes(unit tests) , midsems and endsem exminations. Overall difficulth level depends on the course structure and mainly on the professor. But curriculum is well designed to get u ready for research field.

The campus has all the facilities such as library with input of around 400 students at a time unisex as well as girls gym , cafeterias , ccd,nescafe, eveything. There are no restri tions on hostel timmings except for first semester. And campus is safe at night with security all over. Just you cannot leave the campus after 12 am unless urgent.
