College is great

The curriculum is alright in my opinion i feel like they are pretty out dated the syllabus has been the same for about 30-40 years now and definitely needs an update collges in india need more practical life experience as well

Since i am an NRI my fees is paid in dollars, i pay 12000 dollars per year which includes tuition fee,hostel fee, mess,and all the other expenses are included and caution deposit is 100 dollars and tuition fee is 9000 dollars (includes everything) and hostel and mess together is 3000 dollars

The biggest fests of our college are rivera and Gravitas. Rivera is a cultural fest that takes place in feb, its a 4 day event with lots of clubs taking part in entertaing the students,there are singers who come and perform. Gravitas is a technical fest which mainly encourges hackathons etc.

We have an apartment type Ac/Non ac rooms with attached bathrooms and living room then we have non apartment rooms which dont have bathrooms attached but have a common washroom area. The mess is not too bad there is an app called messit that gives you the menu for the month and its a mix of south and north indian food.Hostel and mess together costs 300000 per year

I had given the JEE exam, BITSAT exam and VITEEE out of which my VITEEE rank was relatively better and made the cut off, i chose VIT since its one of the most prestigious engineering colleges in India

Most of the faculties are pretty approachable and we can talk to them at any point and get our doubts clarrified.the best teacher i had was dr kalaivani K she has been my DSA teacher as well as compiler teacher she taught really well and was a really sweet teacher as well. My least favorite teacher was Dr Rashmi Ranjan he was my BEEE teacher he was a nice man but didnt teach well and was extremely strict in correction.in a semester we have 3 exams namely cat1,cat2 and fat and we have 1 assignment and 2 Quizzes as well there are quite a few students whi find it difficult to pass but there are many students who do well as well

Each block has a Gym in Vit in both girls and boys hostel its about 6000rs per semester for the gym our cafteria is a mess which is included in the hostel fee, we have a great 4 story library that is available from morning 8am to night 12am. The in timings for girls is 7pm on weekdays we have only 2hrs of outing time and on weekends we have 4hrs of outing time. For boys they dont have an in time neither do they have a limit for the day but they cant leave the campus after 7pm. Outside the campus there are a few restraunts that students can eat from
