Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum hasn't influenced to choose this course at all. Infact its making me loose all the interest and trust in this curriculum. The curriculum does not prepare you for the application level at all. As infact we need to obtain it from insternships. The classes are not taken as it's supposed to be. Some of the faculties are rude during class. Most of the classes are not completed before the exams began , and the faculties addresses it as completed even though its not.

Internships Opportunities

1

The insternships conducted in the campus is conducted by the students itself. The internships offered offered by other companies is very less. Students have to take permission to attend internships conducted at other colleges

Placement Experience

1

From semester 5 onwards there are campus placements and interviews. But the placements are very low compared to pther colleges. Only 10 to 20% gets the placements. The average packages for students is 2 lakh per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is not stable. Different Student have different tution fee structure. For me its 1 lakh per annum, thats 50000rs per semester as i had got the admission through management quota. The fee structure for government quota admission will be 75000rs per annum , thats 37500 per semester. The NRI seats will be around 1.2 to 2+ lakh per annum depending on the marks Only NRI admission have so called "donation" which will be minimum of 50k to 1 lakh All the lab and development fee will be included with the tution fee. There caution deposit which is 10k during the admission. And for exam registration for every semester, there's extra fee that needed to be paid apart from the tuition fee As i mentioned , there's different fee structure for my classmates Which starts from 50k per annum to 2 lakh per annum. But most have fee structure from 75k to 1 lakh. The SC ST scholarships are mention during the admission days. But in my experience scholorships for other categories are not at all mentioned and checked.

Campus Life

2

The programs conducted on college is so very less compared to other colleges. There are sports club and frequent period of training everyday after the classes until 6 pm. There's an touch board used instead of regular writing board in every class rooms. There are various technical clubs implemented but theres not impact at all.

Admission

I applied for few other colleges and got admission there and i attended the classes for few days but not at all satisfied as the travel distance is much longer and there are only limited transportation. So i opted for this college as its considerably close compared to other colleges i opted. And the hostel facility is not a considerable option for Me. As i get into management quota, there were cutoff of 60% 12th standard marks + need to be KEAM qualified candidate. The admission process went very smoothly as expected as i started the class the next day after admission.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio will be 1:10. Most of the faculties and very friendly and supporting. The class tutors are very friendly and understanding. The office staffs are sometimes rude. The curriculum is KTU there are 8 semesters The exam registration fee for each subjects are 270rs The evaluation fee for each subject is 630 Supplementary exam fee is 210 for each subject The first year curriculum includes all the subjects from every departments which does not match the chosen engineering branch

Night Life

1

There's no night life in college. even the hostel is inside the campus they are not allowed to leave after 6 pm or walk around the campus area. The only hangout space in college is in canteen or near the sports ground area. And there's no specific area to hangout side the campas apart from a store infront or in the bus stop shed

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 6th semester onwards. At the conclusion of the second year, the college evaluates all students, allowing only the diligent and deserving individuals to proceed, while others are dismissed. The college provides excellent placement prospects for high-performing students. A multitude of reputable companies actively recruit from our institution, making it a premier destination for career opportunities in Kerala. While assured placement is offered to students with minimal or no backlog papers, others are also placed, albeit with comparatively lower annual packages. Majority of the talented students are placed in Cognizant and TCS Ninja with an average annual package of 10 to 12 lakh. I actually plan to pursue higher studies after Btrch.
