Course Curriculum Overview
Exams are conducted structurally . Subjects such as kinesio , rehabilitation made me choose this career , little the world knows about this course but until we get into it we come out of enough knowledge and a feel of pride that we are physiotherapist.
Internships Opportunities
Stipend is not given Instead we have to pay 20k for internship Research projects need to done at the end of inernship. After then completion certificates we get , Internship couse is hectic than academic year
Placement Experience
Placements are not that good enough but we get good opportunities for abroad as this college holds good rapo outside india. Geriwell, iphysio , geriwell is home visit company and iphysio is clinic in pune
Fees and Financial Aid
Dr DY patil college Of Physiotherapy, Pimpri ,pune includes hefty fees around 2 lakhs yearly with 3 % increased fees annually + ?30000 registeration feesduring the admission process . WITH THIS tution fees extra curriculum fees are also included such as journals , semester exam fees ~ ? 5000 , and internship course =?20000 with convocation fees that is ?5000. NRI admission cost higher than other category whereas management fees goes around 10-15L and the admissiom course fees increases every year for the fresh batch . For masters in physiotherapy course the annual fees is around 3 lakhs with other curriculum fees excluded The university provides scolarship on merit basis if scored good in the first year , ?3000 every year till the end of the final semester exams . They provide various opportunities for resesrch studies which also includes patent.funding provided by the univeristy itself .
Campus Life
Sparsh , Sports , cultural events even Sponsorship events are conducted . Infrastructure is too good , well equipped and advanced therapy equipment such as shock wave, laser , aquaciser and innovative projects are exhibited
Hostel Facilities
Attendance being taken every day. Cleaning is done twice a day There are ac and non ac rooms available ,3 bed or 2 bed sharing well fournished , but hostels not affordable as it cost 2 lakhs , flats are more affordable around 10k
Admission
I didnt had any option but i got this college through entrance exam which is conducted by the university itself. Pune dy patil is much better than mumbai ones . Regarding fees and curriculum , academic , faculty wise
Faculty
Faculty is highy skilled and gives immense knowledge in clinical and academic aspects . Best faculty i would like to name Dr. Neha kulkarni Maam , she is very supportive University Exams are conducted every 6 months before final exam preliminary exams are being conducted . Exams included practical on patient viva in 3rd 4th year onwards .we have to clear preliminary exam so that it becomes easy to clear university exams . If we fail in any suvject of preliminary exams we have to round off the marks in university. Only 2 or 3 students fails
Night Life
Gym is there but not in ise , there are many cafe inside the campus , there is big central library at medical hospital which is opened till 12 am Hostel facilities are good and satisfactory for girls in safety perspective as there is high security but not satisfactory for mess food and the hostel fees
