Faculties are good in handling classes .
Scholarships are available which helps .
Placements are good for bba and bcom courses

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not as expected and widely spoken by people
Placements are good. However, they disqualify as many as possible and placements for other courses are not good.
Cultural events are not worth the money.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is not much relevant. Though teaching methods are good course curriculum is not upto the mark . Courses curriculum should include more chapters that are relevant to the course . Exams are easy .

Fees and Financial Aid

As i have taken ba economics (sf) i paid around 25000 per sem. Scholarships are available. I was in college in hostel for 2 years which costs around 1 lakh. in fact, the fees are increasing since 2023.

Campus Life

Annually we have 3 events. However, only 1 out of these 3 events is good. Besides from these 3 events we have dept events they are quite good. Student clubs are encouraging and interactive and it helps to connect to like minded people

Admission

I applied to christ University, bangalore but i didnt oopt for it since there wasnt in hostel and parents were relectant to send to a university without a hostel within the campus. So i had no option but to get into psg cad

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is efficient. Faculties are quite good and approachable. Attendance is followed stictly. Exams are easy but the course curriculum is not so relevant . There are 2 internals and then the semester exam. 2 semesters per year.

Night Life

Psg cas has one of the best libraries. Cafeterias are not so good and the price increases every year by rs 5. Night life is good only for boys since girls have curfew at 6pm. We have many places to hangout outside the campus.

The department of English not only offers good education but also so many values to lead our life. Faculties were so friendly in clearing students' doubts. There was personality development course to improve students' personality. Students had to choose any other subjects other than they are studying for sbi course. Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

An personal view of myself of my college

The psg college of arts and science is a prestigious college in tamilnadu and every student has a dream of studying in our college because the merit system makes it more likable for students as there are two types of applications one is aided and another one is self finance the aided structure made me to chose this college over other colleges . The application has to be applied on the psg college website and once you are eligible for counseling the will ask you to attend it and if you are eligible for the seat you will get seat . I applied in Sri Krishna College of arts and science for BBA logistics and after hearing the fee structure i chose my mind only to join in psg college.
