Birla College Manchester

My college is an awsome college and i really miss going there in my today's life. It's the one thing i wouldn't forget in my life and i would always wish to be there back in the college. Wish Back to the future was true !!!!

I took CAT exam. The reason i took CAT exam is as i wanted to appear for MBA. I scored 124/200 in this exam. This college has a good campus and also a good environment. It is a famous around my town and also one of the best in the city.

B.com is a plane course but useful for people who want to pursue career in accounts and further in Chartered A/c. Basically it becomes entry gate post graduation in any field of commerce. Chartered of Accountant is the most chosen field by our college people who complete their graduation. Hardly people choose MBA.

Our college does provide internship. I was selected for one and that was for Torrent Power Ltd. I was selected as an office assistant. I was given salary of rs.8000/ month. i grown in the same company as after internship i joined the same company.

New comer party- When we entered our first year, seniors threw a party for us and we also enjoyed a Traditional day - we celebrated it in our traditional attire and it was one of the days. There was also competition.

Scholarships are available and for many students depends on their caste and their status. Loans are not available in college.

Campus Life is just as good as it is in any other college. That depends on you how you enjoy your life in college campus. We were usually absent in the class but anybody would find us in campus. There was always a equal ratio of gender as far as i am concern. We celebrated eid and diwali the next day of it so religiously we were good.

Hostels are available just close to college. There are more rooms but it always has rooms available because students reside close to college or are from near town, they don't find difficuilties coming to college hence college hostels are half vacant throu

Seniors were rude in the beginning but after the fresher party they were just like our friends. It is true time changes everything. They started helping us in our projects and also taught us few topics which we were unable to understand.

Exams were semester wise and sometimes we had surprise test. They were not hectic but marks were given strictly. We also had few assignments and then there were written tests also. we also had projects on subjects. Those were conducted in diwali vacation.

I feel lucky to be student of Birla college. The staff was always good and helping. Life was very good among them. It was almost a good memorable life. Staff was like any help and they are there to help us. Few staff will be always remembered for their ex
