A review of SIT Mangalore

The course curriculum is provided by VTU and the 2022 scheme is really good and student friendly and aids to the industry. 60%is done by faculty and 40% is self study. We have two internals per semester and a sem end university exam.

Campus placement is offered, however the company coming is really less and the company that comes are having weird requirements like they need 80% girls recruitment only, the average package being 3.5LPA you can understand the state of placement, overall only 20% of students get placed.

I had a fees of 135000 in first year, this was lower compared to other management students as I joined early, the fees has increased since then. However my fees from 2nd year is 100500 only, compared to other Colleges offering AIML course my college is affordable

Campus Life is good, well it depends on your friends me and my friends are major parts of clubs we are in but we are the only active ones as the clubs here are not regular and don't offer anything from their side most of the students are not willing to join as I already said the infrastructure is one among the worst.

I didn't apply for any other college, I joined this college even before CET results, the thing my mother worried about the exam and wanted me to get admission quickly and as my neighbour was joining this college she made me join here. Sadly I got good results and I could have joined better college. The admission process is easy full the forms and give required documents and you would be asked to pay advance but you can also talk through this process

The faculty members, it depends some are really good knowledgeable but they are less in number. Most of the faculty are not experts in field that they teach, especially in the CSE stream, they be recruiting just passed out students as faculty. We have faculties with zero programming knowledge teaching programming.

DEAD. our college is located on top of hill 5-10 km outside the city and nightlife doesn't exist. If you're a hostalite you are not allowed out after 6.30pm. outside there couple of smal restraunt providing food other than that it offers nothing
