Campus Life

Students runs many clubs like drama club (i am a part of) singing club, carrom club, tennis club, football etc Each rooms have projecter to demonstrate student about real life situations Saraswati puja, college week, establishment of college

Admission

I took a risk and applied for this college only as earlier stated i was influenced by the college website and good will of our college. Amongst the applicants percentage base student are selected and a list is prepared and published online

Faculty

The relationship between the facilities and students is very friendly as we can speak up our problem to them and they try to solve them for us Finance Accountancy Finance faculty is my personal favorite as there teacher are more helpful, understanding, friendly in nature

Night Life

There are many pgs, hotels for both boys and girls. Specially for girls the area is very safe , i have stayed in my friends pg too There are many cafeterias, stalls and peaceful environment to walk around

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nothing influenced my decision to choose this course. I just wanted to choose this course for fun, to be honest. the curriculum rarely prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits but whenever it does it would be very beneficial for the students. Held frequent inspections in the college so that they can improve themselves and the teaching method should be in a friendly and more comprehensive way. The exam timings are perfect along with the perspective of their difficulty level.

Gauhati Commerce College : A premier Institution for Conmerce Education with Evolving Opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, nothing specific has influenced me in the decision to choose this course that is BCOM as most of these student after passing shoes, so I also opt to BCOM. Well, the curriculum does not fully prepare the students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. They does not provide any practical knowledge or any kind of internship to the students for the real world. Well, according to me, they should provide some internship or something related to practical knowledge. This improvements are very necessary. The frequency and timing of exams is very low like within four months the university tries to complete the whole semester, and it's very hard to complete the whole syllabus within just four months.

Riyalistic biheart review

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom from Gauhati Commerce College is a great thing to be heard of if you are from Assam. As it is a renowned college and many alumni are influential and big personalities. So yes bcom is a god course. But it is not much real world based i guess. As modern day is changing rapidly but our syllabus and course haven't changed much from a decade or more. One can see it by seeing past years papers.

My academic experience at University Law College, Gauhati University

Before enrolling myself in ULC, GU it tried to get in to Facuty of Law, Delhi University but because of lack of preparation time as I decided to get myself into studying law very late, I could't clear that particular exam and then to seek for other options I found ULC which has a very rich history of a great alumni base including esteemed Jurists and Lawyers around the country. The admission process includes an examination of 100 marks coducted by Gauhati University which tests students knowledge in various aspects including General Knowlege, English, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning. The cut off for general category students ranges from around 20 to 30 based on the result of other students. I got through this exam scoring 56 with a rank of 5.
