What Students Say

Likes

The thing I appreciate the most is that they try to change the syllabus and be upto date as per standard.
Crowd is here is happening and sophisticated.
Teachers sometimes make efforts in student welfare.

Dislikes

There is no campus at all, so the dream of campus life is shattered
The 75% attendance criteria is a menace.
Some teachers are not adequate enough and have fragile egos.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was always inspired by Data Science hence chose this course. The faculty tries to keep the curriculum up to date with the industry standards. They should be more practical and project based then theory. We have term test once in 1.5 months. With medium difficulty.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 194675 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees that I pay is 194675, in which there is a division, in when 25000 approximately is development fees and 125 for Yuva Raksha Group Insurance. People of categories like EWS, EBC and TFWS have 50% waiver in their fees. There are no scholarships provided by the institution.

Campus Life

We don't have a campus so as such there's no campus life, but we do have loads of committees and clubs related to cultural and technical. We have our annual fest which is good during Feb-March duration, during this most of college is busy in events.

Admission

I always had DJSCE in mind, because it is very sophisticated college with good crowd, and placement is decent as well. We had to give MHT CET exam to get into this college, there was a cutoff criteria that we needed to cross.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio would be around 1:12. Some teachers are really caring and understanding and some have fragile ego. But most of them do think about the welfare of students. There are 2 term test difficulty around medium and 1 endsem again same difficulty. There will be lab exams as well depending on the subjects.

Night Life

My college doesn't provide a hostel, but it is located in Juhu, so most of the best cafés in Mumbai are around our college, especially street food like Anand Dosa, Amar Juice Centre, Prithvi cafe and many more.

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

Reality Of DJ sanghvi College

DJ sanghvi college is a very reputated college ..in Mumbai...After VJTI and SPIT this is the best college in Mumbai for CET students ..
