- Campus is beautiful , the campus is based on london theme, it's the most beautiful College of Bengaluru
Dislikes
- The location is far from the city. I travel 36km everyday to reach college
- There's no good option to eat in cafeteria
- Attendance is of minimum 80 percent , it should be decreased to 70 or 65
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually our college has a calender but they shift dates according to their comfort, they can increase the date of mid sem exams if the syllabus is not covered, it's autonomous college so it's fine.. sometimes they inform about the exam 2 days before.
Placement Experience
After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement 200 plus company visits in DSU Highest package as of now is 44lpa. Around 70 percent student gets placed. I'll do job for 4-5 years then I'll start my own business
Fees and Financial Aid
So basically the course fees is 3 lakh 75 thousand but i appeared for DSAT exam so I got 75000rs scholarship, now my fees is 3 lakhs per annum and we are supposed to pay full year fees at once. And hostel fees for boys 4 Sharing is 2 lakh 25 thousand,
Campus Life
Campus Life is boring, but I have girlfriend so for me it's okay, other students who don't have girlfriend always curse the college location. Events are less often happening in our college. But yes some good events like tantra happens every year and one concert every year3 Library is very attractive, very calm place. And very beautiful library Sports day happens every year but students are less interested in sports There are many clubs in our college but you won't be able to focus on studies when you join the clubs
Admission
Actually I applied for many college but i got less marks in jee mains and my 12th, this college gave me admission as I met the eligibility criteria. Y DSAT exam was good, so I secured CSE core branch here, and yes banglore is good place for CSE. So I grabbed this spot . They take admission through comedk, Kcet, DSAT, management quota.
Faculty
The 2 internal exams , mid sem exam 1 and 2 , and one end semester exam , mid semester exam consists of 40 marks each, which is later averaged to 40 marks, then 20 marks for assignment of project, and there will be 100 marks end semester exam which will be reduced to 40 marks. So total 40 +20+40= 100 marks. There are good facilities available and some bad also
Night Life
Gym is not good at all, they don't have dumbbell in the gym they just have treadmill, you can't make a good physique in college gym. Library is open till 8pm night Hostel curfew starts at 10pm for boys and 9.30pm for girls College timings is 8.30 am to 4.20pm You can roam inside campus but outside it's not safe
