Likes

I like the Infrastructure of the college and would Greatly appreciate the labs over there with latest technologies embedded in the labs
The management is Best and manages all teachers in a good way and do not make the faculties to feel bore but they enthusiasticly come to college and complete their tasks
Finally the teaching is good and the training for placements is more effective

Dislikes

Some faculties are not experienced and don't explain the concepts good
The faculties must be examined wisely and survival of fittest should be observed Observation is the worst thing which includes writing in observation and record which is the wastage of valuable to ime
Training and placements topics should be more clearly explained

Course Curriculum Overview

I love to learn about the data science which make me to learn and explore me more about data Which in this world data plays a major role in day to day life.. The course curriculum is more effectively designed and the intervals of exams are quite good.. Every 4 months the semester end exams is done

Internships Opportunities

The companies like amazon, microsoft and flipkart do visit the clg and provide internship opportunities to the eligible students and moreover the internship are completely based upon the students project's and academic progress.. The students are requested to complete more projects and do explore.

Placement Experience

From the second semester of year 2nd students become eligible to attend for interviews and can crack any interviews depending upon their potential.. More over 90% of students do get hired in the college placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees 1,35,000 Semester fees 1600 but can change..around 100 or 200 may be more than the current.. No any other extra fees There is a placement fees around 20000 rupees is collected from each student.. Scholarship are available of state government fees reimbursement scholarships

Campus Life

The pragnya is the annual and a bigger fest celebrated in the college campus Moreover there will be coding contests in the clg.. The library is a good and has a lot of books to studies ..I do think the library of my clg had saw many branches like us

Admission

I applied for VNR college,JNTUH College and Gokaraju Rangaraju College of engineering and technology but I got only seat allotment in Gokaraju Rangaraju College. Admission Process may include the online web options and saving the students data whose seat is alloteed

Night Life

As it is an engineering college which is a kilometre away from the main road which connects the city..it makes the clg to stay as not connected with the city but the all IT employees are present around the clg itselves

The curriculum is not the best i would say There are many flaws in it Although the say the syllabus keeps changing but the changes are not that much The teaching method is also old school methods U can expect an exam every 1.5 months The difficulty is also high

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
