Remarks

The college is always filled with a bunch of extra curricular activities, major exposure for all students to enhance their personalities by offering various College activities like sports , culture week, etc. The college is equally academically focused !

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The current curriculum is very upto date as per the UGC norms and is at par with other academic institutions. The college expects you to work hard and read up on various topics to gain academic edge.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college like every other college , expects the students to intern during the summer vacation. However, the student is expected to seek internship on her own. The internship duration is 45 days.

Placement Experience

4

The psychology department does not have highly functional placement cell. However , for other courses , the college has a variety of companies coming in and picking up candidates, multinationals such as E and Y , P and G , KPMG , etc. Picks up students through campus placements

College Events

4

Various feasts for mostly undergraduate students like a undergraduate feast, post graduate feat by commerce students , sports day , various conferences. PU feast , degree feast and culture week is one of the major fests hosted by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is like every other private college. I think it is feasible. If you are an out of station student, you have to pay an extra 10,000 rupees as a non Karnataka candidate. The college takes the annual fees during the admission

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers scholarships to exceptional students. However, in order to know more , you must call the college. The college offers in house scholarships as well as government sanctioned scholarships.

Campus Life

4

The laboratories have the necessary equipments. The college has a basketball court , a number of canteens , a sports room, a well equipped library and a digital library to access various research papers.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel and the college infrastructure is mediocre and at par with the UGC standards. The college has about 3 auditorium , each class has a projector and the right amount of furniture and necessary lights and ventilation

Alumni/Alumna

The college keeps organising alumni meets and there is an alumni cell within the college and the students work and organize the event. The college offers an alumni day and the college is decorated with pictures and food is also offered by the college.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is rigorous and changes with each academic year. There are two internals for each subject, assignment submissions , practical work and even mock practicals which add up to your end term scores. Apart from the internal evaluation , the college has end term examination. This has the maximum weightage, however, the internals are equally important.

Admission

In order for you to seek admission in this college for the aforementioned course. You need to fill in the Application form and keep watching out the notice board for the available entrance exam date. They usually give two dates , the entrance takes place twice , it is completely MCQ based , related entirely to Psychology and the test is for about 60 minutes. The results of the test are declared on the same day on the departmental notice board within an hour or two. Then , there is an interview round. The admission is given on the same day , once you have paid the fees. The College accepts plastic money for fees intake.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is brilliant. The psychology department has exceptionally good faculty members. They teach , the classes are usually interactive and the students can follow up with the faculty in case they have any doubts. The faculty is very flexible and knowledgeable.

Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable
