The campus and the peaceful atmosphere at the college
Teachers are available for your doubts and self growth
I found that seniors are very nice here in college

Dislikes

I have to travel a lot for the classes in campus
Attendance drama is not there but labs you have to go
You'll find some fucked up friends also so be aware

Course Curriculum Overview

As per I know dtu is the first engeneering college in Delhi and it was started with the course chemical engineering so I would not say this is bad at all Also you'll gain knowledge about petroleum and other exposure at the college

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 220000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Rightnow I'm in thefirst semester so I don't have much information about the intership but yes there are groups for that even I have opportunity for intership and their are also intership in our own college and you can go out also for interships

Placement Experience

Like as per I know the placement of dtu is good The avg package is around 13-14 lakh per year And the avg package of lower branches like biotechnology and other are around 10-11 lakh So it was quite satisfactory for me And the highest package in 2023 was 84 lakh domestic And 1.2cr internationally

Fees and Financial Aid

Basically the fee structure is different for different programs I'm doing btech so my yearly fee is around -220000 And you can also apply for scholarship programs based on your income , caste etc And loans program are also there in college

Campus Life

There are so many types of societies in the college example dance , singing, instrumental,sports ,art , fashion etc Every month their is something new going in college either it's fest aur mela so too much fun in the campus

Admission

Like I had this college on my list after my jee because after iit and nit my main goal is to go in dtu Reasons 1. Close to my home 2. One of the best govt college in Delhi after iit and nit 3. Great campus and college life

Faculty

So I'm doing btech in chemical engineering in dtu We got classroom of 74 students and for the first semester we had 5-6 subject Course is easy no bt of exams and toughness Faculties are very nice with us

Night Life

The nightlife in the college is too good like you can do cycling and have tea , coffee,pizza anything in the college Even though we have dominos in the college and different shops for every need You don't have to go outside for anything

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

DTU -"More than Just a Tag"

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Students start interships as early as the end of 1st year. and they become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year.there are more than 25 companies which visit the college and around 100 students get placed. Highest pakage last year went around 20LPA, and average was around 9LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

I've only given JEE Mains and It is nearby although I've opted this from othe jac colleges because I'm getting Core Branch. DTU is best in Core branchs(esp EE ME ECE) I've also applied for IPU colleges in which I'm getting CSE branch But I prefer It DTU over any other college. Admision Process is easy You have to apply through Jac Delhi Website. Once You got the seat you have pay 95,000 confirmation fee which already included in you tution fee which you pay after verfication of documents. and all set....Read More
