Course Curriculum Overview

3

I just choosed this course because there was no other seats left in the college for my desired course I wasn't sure about anything about the subject Later on learnt many things and every week practical classes were conducted And every year they would take the students to the field visit and teach us everything practically

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees was 5,500rs or 6000 to be paid every year But the examination fee's was little bit more compared to other colleges The category students of sc st fee's was just 1,500rs and examination fees was zeroo They have not to pay the examination fees and marks card fees The SSP scholarship only was applied the was provided by the government

Campus Life

3

Every year fun week ethic days annual day freshers day etc was conducted in the college premises Library is just satisfied and all types of books related to the syllabus was available in the library and other educational magazines journals also there Sports was also given high importance all students have been participated in other competitions also Only NCC and NSS was there in the college

Admission

I had not applied for any other colleges than this one Went directly to this particular college to join I just choosed only this college because of the financial issues in my family And since its government college the fees structure would be less so. According to me admission process is not so hectic and everyone would the seat for their desired courses accordingly to the percentage scored in the previous class

Faculty

3

Since this college is oldest in city the faculty some of them are highly experienced and their way of teaching is easily understandable to us But the guest faculty has no experience & some of the just not able to stand strictly in front of the students The no.of students are more soo faculty does not approach each and everyone they approach only the class CR for everything Regularly exams are conducted for each sems

Night Life

3

Library is there with not so much satisfied with space Other than Library canteens and the practical lab playground park nothing much is special in the college The hostel is right opposite to the college so no timings issues with the students staying in the hostel to reach out the class on time Yes the locality is also safe to roam around in the night time Its in the heart of the city and main road

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was very well structured with both theoretical and Practical exposure. The curriculum is designed in such a way that they are very relevant to real world , this also prepare the students to the real world applications and further academic pursuits. The improvements can be made in the practical part of the courses. There must be regular field visits and utilisation of funds to bring innovation. The internal exam would be after 2 to 2.5 months after the commencement of the semester and practical exams would be immediately after 10 days of the internals. The external or final exams would be after a month of practical exams. There will be enough time to prepare for the exams from the commencement of the semester but there will be no study holidays and gaps between the exams.

There are many career opportunities for this course like an agriculture officer. agri business management agriculture research scientist.. agriculture extension officer.. agriculture consultant.. agricultural inspector etc. The exams are given at proper timings with gaps and we are getting enough time to study and do well except for some rare cases of difficulties. as it is a professional course, the difficulty level is medium to hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All the subjects that are included in the course are really important to survive in the agriculture sector if someone wants to build career. These courses teaches from fundamentala to advanced technology covering each and every aspect of this field. I think practical experience plays very important role in preparing students for the real world challenges rather than theory. So college has to give more importance to practical classes and conduct field classes more often rather than classroom teaching. Exams schedule and difficulty level is at par
