Likes

Faculties are good and are encouraging to students
There are many ground for encouraging our sports skills
A well equipped library is here for us, it contains plenty of books

Dislikes

Campus is too small in accordance with other engineering collages
They conduct less cultural programs, college is syricy enough
Collage ground is too small, especially the football ground

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm interested in electronics amd communication engineering. Because it deals with both hardware and software, which peovides us a huge opportunity in the real world and help us to find a job easily. Teaching methods are good

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships provided are less forbthis collage. Even though the students gets internshops and earn some money. Many companies offer here for onternships, but the didn't provide enough money for the internships.

Placement Experience

This collage provides enough placements, mostly core placements are less. Even though most poeople are placed at IT related companies. About 70% of students are placed in here. The largest placement in the history was 27LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Collage is small ,even though facilities are too good for me. Faculaties much supportive and encouraging. Provide an average placements. There isn't branches for civil ans mech. Mostly the stidents are placed in IT related companies

Campus Life

The clubs exist in the collage are too good and are encourage to our students. In this collage has a seperate building for library, which contains a plenty of books. The library is much quote and has the environment for study

Hostel Facilities

Collage has its own hostels for both boys and girls. For boys, they have hostels for only first years, but for gorls have hostel for both four years. The hostel facilities are too good. But the hostel foods are miserable

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

These collage takes students in accordance with KEAM examination. Those who scored enough mark can join this collage. Also these collage have both merit seats and management seats. There also exist NRI seats.

Faculty

There are maximum 63 students in a school. The teachers are pretty good and encouraging. There conduct two internal exams and its average is talen for our end semester internal. Overall the collagr good for me

Night Life

The night life in this collage are too poor. Collage has it's own gym but the facilities are too poor. The deadline of boy's hostel are 7pm. The collage exist in the centre of a city, so the transportation facilities are high

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

I first applied for most of the government engineering colleges. Then my next priority was to get into a best college other than the government ones. That's how I found college of engineering chengannur. I heard it is the second best IHRD college . So I fixed to get admission in this college.
